Four days at the Hotel Alte Wache Mariental were perfect. The beautiful landscape offered perfect relaxation and we were able to visit numerous sights. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff, who made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you goes to Mr. Ada, who took excellent care of us. Clear recommendation for a relaxing short vacation!

The hotel is located directly on the town thoroughfare and is therefore not as quiet as you would like. However, the bedrooms face the back, so you can still relax. The rooms are clean, practical and furnished with charm. There is a Tassilo machine in every room. You shouldn't be put off by the external impression, you can stay here for a few days. 🙂

The reception was supposed to be open until 10 p.m. but there was no one there. I called and got the key. It's worse when someone doesn't speak German...Get some sleep and move on.

Super nice and accommodating.Price and performance fit well.Sufficient parking space even for larger vehicles. Room on the ground floor, very pleasant. Breakfast good and sufficient.Some street noise but bearable.

Shock at first:) When I arrived everything was dark and deserted. Restaurant permanently closed which was not apparent when booking. Old cute building in the middle of nowhere. After contacting the nice gentleman by phone, I knew what to do next. But then came the surprise when I entered the room! Everything perfect! Modern and clean. A small coffee machine, coffee pods and tea are available. Thanks to the service for that. There are also options for shopping nearby, but if you want to go out for something to eat, you have to take another route. Now that I know, I will plan differently the next time I have business here again, but I will definitely try to stay here again. 😀

I couldn't find a place to stay in Wolfsburg, so I stayed at this hotel a little far away.The exterior is old, but the interior has been renovated and is beautiful. Our family of four used two rooms, which was nice because they were connected inside.Please note that the shower space does not drain well, so if you do not turn off the shower frequently, the toilet will flood.We stayed on Saturday night and had breakfast on Sunday.Because it's in the countryside, it's quiet at night and you can see the stars very clearly.

The room was good. Unfortunately we were only able to have breakfast once. There is none on Sunday. Apart from the fact that the rooms were quite expensive and we also paid extra for breakfast, we are quite disappointed with this situation.

We were here in September for the Christmas party with food and bowling. The food was great, good chef. - The service was very unfriendly and didn't ask if anyone else wanted something to drink (we often sat dry for a long time), the bowling alley felt like it went on strike after every fourth throw, but you weren't allowed to intervene yourself. I won't come here again, just to eat and leave straight away.

I was only present for one night. Welcome and service during the meal very friendly. There was nothing to complain about about the schnitzel, and I'm sensitive about this. Portions all seem to be sufficient for good eaters. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Senseo machine is rarely found in a rural hotel. Only breakfast was not offered.

We now often ate at the Alte Wache in Mariental. It's simply wonderful to be a guest at Martin Klein's. In the kitchen, the chef always outdoes herself. The plates prepared, coupled with Beata's (waitress) friendly manner, are a real feast for the eyes. We always feel very comfortable there. Thomas Behrens

Not really attractive from the outside,As we all know, the first impression counts.Room is cold, shouldn't be at this time of year.A laundry trolley standing in front of the room has a bit of the impression of a storage roomReception not manned on Monday, which shouldn't be the case for a hotel.A colleague's room, no private bathroom.Shared shower and toilet for several peopleNot recommended this hotel
