This hotel should definitely be avoided due to poor service. Immediately asked 125 euros for one night. Room was OK but the TV didn't work because the batteries were dead. Advertises its breakfast buffet, but there is no sign of it at all. A breakfast at the table with a person who cannot bake a sandwich or make a fried egg. Can't have dinner there either because the cook was supposedly ill. So nice advertising, but the reality is completely different

Our recent stay at this hotel began with some inconsistencies at check-in. We had booked a room for two adults and a child (5 years old) through booking.com, but the information about the accommodation did not quite meet our expectations. According to the description the room was supposed to contain a double bed and a sofa bed, which was not the case. Instead, our room only offered a double bed with two separate mattresses, with no additional sleeping option for our child, who ended up having to sleep in the bed with us. There was further confusion with the included breakfast. Despite booking for three people, it was initially indicated that there would be additional costs for breakfast for our child. However, after a short discussion, this was corrected. The next morning we discovered that our child wasn't automatically covered. The breakfast itself was fine, although we found a burnt bread roll in our bread basket. However, a replacement was delivered to us. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory and there were no obvious defects.I didn't find the cost per night appropriate despite the 10% booking.com discount and included breakfast. More appropriate communication from the hotel and a correct description of the room amenities on the booking site would certainly have made our experience better. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clearly room for improvement in the areas of guest communication and service.

Carefully and tastefully decorated hotel. Beautiful room with an attractive, warm color concept. Good bed, with a second pillow even in the single room, which I really appreciated. I can't comment on the cuisine as I didn't eat at the hotel. But above all, the boss was very flexible in helping me solve a problem. Thank you again for this!

In the rooms facing the street you can only sleep with the window closed or with hearing protection because the truck traffic starts at around 5 a.m

Hotel Birkenmoor can only be recommended. We stopped here on our 600km bike tour to Berlin and were given a very friendly welcome. Due to bad weather, we arrived a little before check-in time and were completely soaked and luckily we were already let in. The hotel makes a very tidy impression. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully clean! The most important thing to us was the shower and it was great! After a short nap, I was served a plate of Ruhrpott in the evening and my friend had a schnitzel. The breakfast in the morning was also a dream, rich, delicious and all wishes were promptly fulfilled, what more could you want! A thousand thanks to the operator and his entire team and especially to the lady for international relations! It was a pleasure for us!

Rooms are ok, unfortunately breakfast costs €20 extra. The coffee and tea making facilities listed in the room description are missing. Complicated check-in. Definitely not acceptable for the price.

If you're in this quiet area, this hotel is recommended!As requested, we got a quiet room, spacious, clean, furnished with attention to detail, like the entire house.They even thought about a height-adjustable slatted frame in the bed.A very nice owner.The breakfast was tasty, varied and, above all, plentiful. Delicious smelling bakery rolls were on the table, but unfortunately you don't have them often anymore.
