Very nice staff, clean, quiet, even though it is close to the expressway. Parking spaces on site.

I was in Magdeburg for work and chose the hotel because of its proximity to the clinic. Super nice service, everything was uncomplicated. Rooms are very well maintained and clean, some hotels can follow this example. Unfortunately, the situation is a blessing and a curse. Unfortunately, the noise from the street didn't allow me to sleep completely undisturbed, even with the windows closed. The mobility from the hotel through the street is of course good. Breakfast was great, simple but the coffee was delicious!

Cleanly run small. Hotel with cheerful, very nice and courteous staff. Everything can be easily reached by bike, right down to the Elbe, the Allee Center and so on. A stone's throw to the university clinic. I'd love to come back.

Very nice hotel, although the Wi-Fi password was nowhere to be found (nothing in the room's welcome pack, nothing at the reception). Since I work remotely, internet access is of key importance. …

In order to comply with Google review guidelines, this is a description of the communication with the management of the family-run hotel. Such behavior towards guests should be visible, it doesn't work that way: I have stayed in this middle category business hotel for two years more often for work reasons. Last night I arrived at the hotel and there was a thin summer blanket on my bed. Otherwise I used the second blanket from the wardrobe, but it was empty. The nice employees are only there in the morning. So I call the emergency number and describe my problem. The operator's answer: "There's nothing I can do now, turn the heating on overnight, all the blankets are being cleaned, we don't have any more." The rooms, very clean, always smell of the care products. My tactic for this so far: turn off the heating and sleep with the window open. It wasn't feasible because of the thinnest summer blanket and 2°+ outside temperature. So I waited until another guest came to ask if there was an extra blanket in the closet - hygienically that shouldn't be a problem, a closet is a closet. I was lucky and had a blanket. And the second time a month there was no TV usage. The frustration: the phone call was a step in the way of complaint management, at no point was it about a friendly solution to the problem, only about justifications, reprimands of my behavior for even calling... It was appropriate for kindergarten - behavior as a hotel owner, outrageous! I wasn't rude on the phone, nor did I say "anything" to other guests - I just asked for an unused extra blanket in a closet. I didn't mention a non-functioning heater, nor did I say that I had the authority to ask for a blanket, that's catastrophizing and made up.In order to avoid further trouble, I had already successfully looked for alternative accommodation in the morning. So I was prepared when the following email came in the morning. How the phone call changed our perspective on the position of hotel owner as a guest...Here is the rude email from those in charge of the hotel:Good morning Ms. Horvath, Since you wrote to me personally, I will personally respond to your email. According to your statement, we don't have another blanket in your room. 1. I explained to you yesterday that we have some duvets in the dry cleaners. 2. You have only reserved for one single room, so there are no plans to provide a second one, unless you tell us that you always need another blanket, you never noted this. Regarding the heating, it always runs day and night, you are the first to complain that it probably doesn't work. On the point of no ventilation option, so Ms. Horvath, we have windows in the room and bathroom that can be used for ventilation. Regarding the television, you could have contacted me again by phone. We always accept criticism and try to implement it in the best possible way so that our guests are satisfied. But one thing we cannot and will not accept is when untruths are expressed about us. This brings me to the question of who gives you the right to tell a strange guest that I gave you permission to demand a second blanket from the guest's room. Ms. Horvath, that doesn't work. That is very rude and was incorrect and untrue! As the saying goes, “customer is king”, with all due respect, that goes too far and we cannot or do not have to accept that. We are of the opinion that we are not the right hotel for you and would therefore like to ask you to look for a hotel that meets your requirements for your next stay in Magdeburg. I don't want to say anything more about it. Kind regards, those responsible for the hotel – AND MY CONCLUSION: no more overnight stay here 😊

Really really wonderful place. We visited Magdeburg just for the weekend, and so we needed a place to stay just for the night. We didn't use the public transportation for our whole stay, so the walk to the hotel was around 40 minutes, and the whole way we just enjoyed the surroundings.Although it's near a road, it wasn't actually noisy at all. And the building was very nice. At the time of our stay not too many people stayed there (October 2023). The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures 😅We didn't have a chance to have breakfast, since we kind of woke up late.. But I'm sure it would have been wonderful. The reception was very good, it was easy to check in and get the key from the box. The checkout was in person, we left the key and were on our way.We definitely recommend to stay here. 👍🙏🙌🙌
