Absolute madness...a fantastic place and a beautiful environment a perfect place to relax and not pay attention to the time...I'm extremely happy with everything about it and around it.Always polite, always friendly and you rarely say no to a cup of coffee.I can only recommend it if the city air gets too much.

Had booked here for 2 nights but was faced with a closed door. A person arrived and said that the manager was on holiday. I would have had to search for quite some time on bad cobblestone roads, because Drebenstedt was not on a map. I then called the manager and after some time I got him on the phone. Forgot booking. He then called another guesthouse and the neighbor took me there. I can't judge the rooms and service, but from the outside it looks run down. Usually workmen sleep there.

The guesthouse “Zur Eiche” offers everything a guest expects for an overnight stay in a rural area:A quiet location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a rich breakfast and very friendly, pleasant service from Mr. Jäger. Completely uncomplicated check-in. Very quiet location. Nice big rooms. Dogs were welcome. Good and extensive breakfast. The only negative point was the coffee. I'd love to come back.

We stayed at Mr. Jäger's guesthouse for one night with our child and dog. The modern rooms are very comfortable and clean. Nothing is missing and Mr. Jäger tries very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We were the only guests for that weekend night and yet we had the full breakfast buffet to choose from and there was enough of everything.Despite arriving late, we were able to get into our room very easily. Very fond of children and animals. We will definitely come back to the guesthouse.

The first impression was very rustic, but then it turned out that the rooms were modern, clean and completely OK. It was a very nice and uncomplicated stay, almost like staying with friends.

A simple guesthouse, but simply good. The backyard looks like a construction site, the rooms are good. Lorenz Jäger takes care of his guests. The huge peace oak tree directly in front of the guesthouse and the village charm are sensational. Gladly again

The guesthouse is very cozy, the room is very clean and friendly. I slept well and my two dogs were welcome. I felt very comfortable there and can only recommend the guesthouse. Breakfast is included in the overnight price. All in all, great value for money with very friendly hosts.

We felt really comfortable. The family room (2 rooms including a kitchenette) plus bathroom was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and completely sufficient. The guesthouse is very quiet but conveniently located.
