We are always greeted warmly and enjoy the woody room and the clucking sound of Ilse. Very nice staff, fragrant breakfast and the location: From here you can start hiking wonderfully - to the left, to the right and even up.

We have been to this very nice hotel several times. The employees are particularly friendly and attentive. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant not only offers good breakfast but also very good, tasty warm cuisine. We'll definitely be back.

At the beginning of October 2024. We booked 3 nights here with all the bells and whistles. The location of the hotel is great. The room, furnishings and size are perfectly fine. The staff are nice, friendly and very attentive. Breakfast buffet is good and absolutely sufficient. The 3-course menu in the evening was delicious, especially the desserts. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

The room was clean and adequately equipped. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is ideal for hiking.Unfortunately there were no vegan alternatives for breakfast or dinner. This is unfortunate and, in my opinion, no longer appropriate.

Unfortunately that was nothingThere is a sign on the street saying that hikers are welcome and that there is coffee and cake on the terrace. When we asked at reception where the terrace was, the receptionist told us: The terrace is there, but we don't serve outside. Then, without a word, she turned around and closed a door behind her, leaving us at a loss.Maybe the signs on the street should be removed.Luckily we found a wonderful café nearby where we were welcomed.

We can't say much about the hotel itself since we were restaurant guests. However, we had an extremely positive impression: We ordered buffalo mozzarella, brawn, fried mushrooms, and both desserts (creme brulee; currant layer dessert). Everything tasted really good to us and was served very quickly (we finished eating after just 45 minutes after ordering). Orange sorbet and chocolate mousse were even served with the crème brulee, which was really great. Plus fantastic, friendly service. Big praise. We didn't expect it to be so great here, since we came here first and foremost to purchase the Harz gold coin.

I have been visiting this hotel for several years and can give it 5 stars without hesitation. Here you are in very good hands and can have a real holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good food, very well-kept house, very nice surroundings, very high feel-good factor. In Ilsenburg and the surrounding area, at least the best hotel I know of, without any ifs or buts.

We were able to enjoy eight days in this hotel, which is located in the beautiful, green Ilsetal - someone still says that the Harz is no longer beautiful. With All Inclusive we really let ourselves be pampered: delicious breakfast, a packed lunch for the day, coffee and cake or ice cream, various 3-course menus to choose from in the evening that always made our eyes light up and of course drinks (until 9 p.m ).The rooms were great, the beds didn't feel like you were at home, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It doesn't get any better.Thank you!

Great cozy hotel with great service, extremely friendly staff and great cuisine. We had a great last minute offer with half board, breakfast very inviting and tasty. In the evening 2 course menu, great, the kitchen is 1a with stars, rarely eaten so well and everything was hot and beautifully prepared, only recommended!!Very beautiful surroundings in the Ilsetal. It feels like we're in the middle of the forest, a dream, we'd love to come back!!

Great beer garden...only the service staff takes an unannounced break - you can't pay. Other guests couldn't order and left after waiting 10 minutes. That is not how it works!!!

Wonderfully located on many hiking trails. Accompanied by the chirping of birds, the rustling of the Ilse and lots of fresh air and peace - sleeping with the window open (fly screens on the windows) - heavenly!Very friendly staff!Sauna area is very attractively designed - drinks must be brought by the guest - of the 2 saunas, unfortunately only the 60° C sauna can be used at the moment (additional payment of €7.50 is required).The fitness room is outside the actual hotel in a separate house (purely Mukki fitness - not for people who want to do some gentle exercise such as cardio training or balance exercises on rainy days.Unfortunately, contrary to the description, there was no safe in our two rooms.

Been here for the second time now. Like last time, everything was great. My brother was also excited.Keep it up!It is a small, beautiful hotel on the Heinrich Heine hiking trail. The entire hotel is very well maintained and clean. There's nothing wrong with the rooms either. The food is really delicious and the kitchen responds immediately to special requests. But the absolute highlight is the staff. Extremely friendly and accommodating. They read your every wish from your lips. Just an example: I like drinking Earl Grey. After I said this at the first breakfast, from the next day onwards it was brought to my table without asking as soon as I entered the dining room. And that even with changing staff. Simply great. Keep it up girls!!! If I go to the Harz again, I already know where to book... Thanks again for the great stay.
