We had an overnight stay at very short notice in October 2024 with 2 adults and 2 children. We paid €110 (excl. breakfast). Considering that the heaters didn't work, the hot water was only available via a water tank and you had to be economical, I unfortunately have to give the house in the outlying area a negative rating (Ernst-Thälmann-Straße). I asked for a portion of the amount I had already paid to be credited to me. This was followed by defensive behavior and the statement that I could not expect a refund and that I did not have to take the room when I saw it. There was also no apology. In addition, I was told that the furnishings correspond to the other rooms - which you can see with pictures on the website. That wasn't the case. The shutters didn't work, the beds didn't look like the pictures and the shower bracket was broken. Unfortunately, none of this is a sign of good quality and is unfortunately associated with negative experiences.

Room great, the breakfast is really great and plentiful, fruit, sausage and cheese and juice, coffee and milk, everything is there and as I said, good and plentiful. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished, bedsare great. Oh yes, you can also have excellent food in the restaurant. Prices are OK, food is plentiful and good. We always enjoy coming to the country house. The staff is nice and helpful.

Good place for a stopover on the way home from the North Sea. Simple, clean room with a good bed, large shower, TV and fridge.The kitchen was very good, huge portions, price really ok. Breakfast was delicious.

The best in the area! The food is delicious and traditionally prepared. The prices are good on average. The restaurant shines with its typical decoration and really looks good. Very cozy. The owner and staff are very friendly and respectful. I loved being there! 🌝👍

It is wonderful. Staff very accommodating. Breakfast very nice except for the rolls. Unfortunately they're just cheap little baguettes to bake. Otherwise it is highly recommended.

OK for one night. Good mattress, parking space behind the house. Since the rooms are next to the restaurant, it is a bit noisy. But it's quiet between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. 🙂. The food in the restaurant is super good 👍!!!

We booked one night for one night.The location was okay, 1 km from the accommodation was the Geiseltalsee, great weather for swimming and really nice there.As far as the room is concerned, we would have liked 2-3 plates and cutlery.As far as cleanliness is concerned, everything was good, except for the windows. They have probably never been cleaned, as you can see in the pictures.

Next to the restaurant there is a guest house with modern rooms. The location on the allotment gardens in Frankleben, close to Lake Geiseltalsee, is ideal for cycling trips and the natural swimming area beckons you to go into the cool water.

Yesterday we were there for a birthday dinner with 5 people and have actually been guests there for years. In terms of quality it was nothing! Duck was totally dry and you could only get it down with a big sip of juice. Noodles were also dusty. We could have done it better at home. Duck was now available in the “not through” version.So I would just like to have some love when cooking againService was good, the terrace was well maintained but the food was simply forgettable in all 5 variants

We booked for one night and were very rewarded. The team responded quickly and friendly to every request we had. The rooms are fresh, very clean and functional. The property offers various options for spending time comfortably in the garden. The associated restaurant is inviting. Price performance unbeatable. If you have an extra wish, it will be fulfilled.
