The room was clean and tidy. I also found the furnishings to be very good, everything was neat, the bathroom was also clean.Unfortunately, you can actually give yourself breakfast as a gift. It said breakfast starts at 9:00 a.m. When I arrived 5 minutes after 9 there were already 6 people at the buffet in front of me. There was no butter or scrambled eggs on the grounds that "today is also Sunday", very qualified staff. The sausage already had a gray edge and the boiled eggs could have been sipped with a drinking tube.You can really save on the service. 👎

To be honest, I didn't expect much for €79 and I was still disappointed. As soon as you enter the hotel there is an unpleasant smell of sanitary facilities. My bathroom was dirty (I had to first wipe away residue, remove hair and my toilet paper roll was almost empty so I had to do my business in the morning with my own tissues.) The room looked much more modern and friendly from the pictures on the hotel website , as it ultimately affected me. But the biggest shock was actually the paid “breakfast”. The kitchen area is absolutely uninviting, there are stickies everywhere and there are disgusting stains on the floor. The “buffet” was almost empty when I wanted to have breakfast on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. There are dirty dishes everywhere, there are packages of cold cuts lying around and the scrambled eggs look like they've been sitting there cold since last night. Anyone who calls something like this “hotel breakfast” should be ashamed of themselves. I was so disgusted that I looked for a bakery in the next town and had breakfast there. By the way, there was no contact person. All I'm saying is: KEEP YOUR FINGER AWAY from Hotel Radau! The pictures speak for themselves.

Perfect for families! The hotel is right next to the KÄNGUROOM which was really great for my children. The staff is really very friendly and you receive a warm welcome. Breakfast tasted delicious and the rooms were good too. We'd love to come back.

The room was generally fine. There was a kettle, tea and coffee cream (without coffee) in the room. The reception was a bit strange and seemed disorganized despite booking and paying in advance. The question of whether we liked "watching TV" was surprising until we realized that the TV was broken. The breakfast was so poorly calculated that after 8:30 a.m. the guests were not given any coffee or bread rolls. Unfortunately, no employee was on site to clarify this. The guests were very surprised and angry. For a breakfast of 13 euros per person you really expect more. The photos do not correspond to reality in any way.Unfortunately not recommended.

We went there for a wonderful training weekend with the marching band of the Schützengesellschaft Salzgitter-Lebenstedt e.V.The smaller and older children were very impressed by the Kanguroom (indoor playground).

Since the new opening, very nice management staff who always try to please everyone, are always there when you need them, rooms are a little older but very clean and well-kept. Highly recommended for a visit to the fun park or a nice hiking weekend in Bad Harzburg! I'll be back ☝🏻

The hotel is located a bit away from the center. But easy to reach by car. Unfortunately there were no free parking spaces at the Fun Park and we had to park a little further away. The staff was very friendly.The furniture seemed very old. Very strong signs of wear everywhere. It would be nice if there was a refrigerator. The beds were extremely soft. The positive thing is that you couldn't hear any noise etc. from the fun park in the room. Water came out of the floor tiles in the bathroom, so you often stepped in a small puddle. Checking in and out wasn't that easy. The person responsible for this wasn't there and so it wasn't clear whether our room was still available or how we could pay. However, the existing staff tried very hard and was able to clarify everything after a few phone calls. For a short hiking trip to the Harz, the hotel is ok and a cheap alternative.

Room ok, but in the bathroom the shower rod fell down in the shower cubicle while I was showering and there are silverfish there too

Not recommended, booked 2 days ago via Booking, money was collected and confirmation was sent out, now they say you're sorry, there was an overbooking with another group and my room is canceled. It doesn't work at all.
