A very friendly, family-run hotel in a great location. We were a small hiking group (4 women) and had a very nice weekend here. You can hike directly from the hotel into the fantastic vineyard landscape. The breakfast was very tasty and we had two very good meals in the hotel restaurant in the evening with great wine from our own vineyard. The owners are very friendly and always in a good mood - both late in the evening and early in the morning 😉

The Berghotel is a hotel that makes you feel good. Everything is right all around. From the cleanliness and friendliness to the very good breakfast buffet and the range and quality of the food in the restaurant, there is nothing to complain about.

Rooms are very clean and “nice”, they could be more modern.The facility is very beautiful, the grounds and the view are amazing. Pool large and clean with lounger options. Parking is also no problem.The only disadvantage I personally think the food is too expensive, it's delicious no question but for the price I'll eat somewhere else but well you also pay for the view.Conclusion: In general, a nice hotel and recommended if you want to save money, eat outside, although you have to eat here just because of the view.

We love this place. Always a relaxed, enjoyable stay. The large, well-maintained swimming pool and the spectacular viewing terrace are simply fantastic. The wine (everywhere in the area) and the delicious food make this place perfect.

We stayed at the Berghotel Wilhelmsburg over the weekend in July and would also like to share our experiences...Hotel room:The room furnishings are already a bit old. The room smelled unpleasant when we arrived and apparently hadn't been aired for a long time. The bathroom was very, very small and the wash basin was unsuitable.Restaurant:The view of the valley from the restaurant terrace was really fantastic. The dinner tasted very good. We found the price for the portions served (Wilhelmsburg salad and venison venison pan) very exorbitant and cheeky, as the menu, which you can access online, says completely different prices?! Unfortunately we only noticed this after we left.Breakfast:The breakfast was good, there was nothing to complain about. Maybe it would make sense to not necessarily vacuum the restaurant during breakfast time?Service:The hosts tried to be nice. Unfortunately we lacked warmth here.Our conclusion:All in all quite ok. However, in our opinion, price and performance do not match here.

Fine, quiet hotel with a fantastic view.The food was very tasty and the cake at coffee time is also amazing.Unfortunately, we weren't able to test the beautiful swimming pool because we didn't have any bathing suits with us.

We enjoyed 4 days in this wonderful mountain hotel Wilhelmsburg, and can only report positive things. Delicious food, with a fantastic view from around 110 meters above sea level, we looked at the town of Bad Kösen.

Restaurant review:A home-style restaurant that keeps up with the times.I was absolutely thrilled by the very selected menu that Willhelmsburg has to offer. Of course, in addition to game, fish and meat dishes, there is also a surprisingly large selection of vegetarian dishes - of the kind that don't just become vegetarian simply by omitting meat. A real rarity in home-style gastronomy - especially outside of metropolises.The service was quick, friendly and very attentive.Our children were treated kindly, were allowed to run around (which the castle offers plenty of opportunity for in the spacious outdoor area) and even had their special wishes fulfilled (drinking straw, only a single scoop of ice cream for dessert instead of the ice cream sundaes shown on the menu).In addition, the restaurant simply impresses with a wonderful view over Naumburg and Bad Kösen.Eike thoroughly positive experience. Always happy.
