Simple, simple and very reasonably priced accommodation in the city center of Unna. Room had no wardrobe... Room and the small bathroom should be renovated. The location in the middle of the city center is great. You can stop briefly in front of the hotel to unload your suitcase. Long-term parking is about a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast good and at a great price. (10Euro) Recommended for a short stay of 1-2 nights. If you stay for several days I would not recommend the hotel.

Comfortable, neat bedroom. Unfortunately two separate beds that were made of wood. The mattress fell in so you couldn't lie in each other's arms 😊Paid extra for breakfast and it was reasonable but nothing special. I only got my hard-boiled egg after we had actually finished breakfast. That was a pity. Not much choice in terms of bread. Buffet was not checked during our breakfast, so it was not replenished.

A small, cozy, outdated hotel.Very cozy room.Simple and simple.Everything clean and well maintained.Very nice staff.And a good breakfast.Location 30 meters from the market square which is also very nice.

Bathroom and separate toilet both without heating. So cold in winter. When I asked if there were rooms that had heating in the bathroom, I was told that there were, but they were occupied. Besides, you don’t need heating…(😂… No joke). I'm not squeamish, but I find it unpleasant to go into a cold bathroom in the morning in an old building with an outside wall for the bathroom in winter. When asked again, a small fan heater was provided... I can't judge whether the black discoloration on the joints is mold. The bottom of the shower curtain is smelly, the shower head holder is broken, there is a constant unpleasant smell in the toilet, etc. No drama at all, but you can tell that there seems to be no interest in keeping things in good shape.Worse: mattress totally worn out. If the only possible side sleeper position you can assume in the comfort of your bed doesn't happen to be the right one, you're going to have a mixed night. Rooms are also extremely noisy - but ok - that has to be clear in an old city hotel. It's still not nice.I have nothing against simple standards. But unfortunately almost all clichés of a “cheap flophouse” are exceeded. At least in the single room I occupied. 72.20 euros is still far too expensive in my opinion.

I booked for my girlfriend and can't recommend the hotel. The rooms are not heated and there was no hot water either. The previous ear sticks were still in the trash and otherwise there was something to be desired in terms of cleanliness.Unfortunately I hadn't read the reviews.

Small, certainly outdated hotel in the heart of Unna. The reception was very friendly. The room is functional and for the price there is really nothing to complain about.

Stayed 09/22, from the U.S., I expect small when traveling in Europe, get over it, the toilet and sink were perfect size!! Breakfast and service was excellent. If ever in Unna again I'm using the Nachtwachter.

Of course I found out about the rooms before I booked. They are also shown on the hotel's homepage. Personally, I can't understand the complaining about "too narrow, too old, too unfashionable". It is a good place to stay overnight

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Hotel doesn't seem nice and clean. Rooms small and outdated. Bathroom not really clean and mold in the joints. No parking available.

When I read the nasty reviews here, I think, "yeah" you also had the bad, dirty, musty, wifi-free, moldy and overpriced room. There was no response to my criticism the next morning with either a call or an email. Apparently the operators don't care how the guests feel. Here (I can only speak in my case) a room is offered at far too high a cost. I've seen clean rooms for less money... even some youth hostels are in better condition... I'm glad I didn't have breakfast.There was a chance of not getting these reviews but no one from the night watch team ever contacted me.

Never again!!!! Parking options are hardly/not at all available. When you enter the Fojier, you are initially met with a really unpleasant smell. The staff seems demotivated and listless and you can feel that when you enter. However, these were still more of the pleasant things. It smells much worse in the room, it didn't take long to find out why. The exhaust in the bathroom from 1970, as dusty and dirty as it was, let out a brutally unpleasant air. There was black mold on the silicone in the shower and on the door or between the door. In general, the bathroom is so small that you can hardly distinguish it from a storage room. The carpet was stained and dirty. What was even worse was the old burnt sweat stain on the pillow. The room was also dusty and generally hadn't been cleaned for a long time.For me personally, it's not a hotel that I would even recommend to anyone as an emergency solution.

A clean little hotel!For 1-2 days it's absolutely fine! Is very centrally located on the pedestrian zone! Breakfast was delicious and the service was very friendly! Scrambled eggs are freshly prepared when needed!Unfortunately, the drinks machine downstairs in the hallway is almost empty!Only 10 minutes on foot to the Linden brewery!

The suite was large, as expected the bathroom was huge. The normal rooms are small but sufficient. The condition is ok, just not recently renovated. The location on the market is very central. Price/performance was right.

An outdated hotel with spartan furnishings. But it was enough for us to stay overnight. We can't say anything about the service, we just slept there. Unfortunately there is also very little parking space and if you are unlucky your space will be gone in the evening.
