Quite comfortable location. They are currently renovating the rooms and therefore there is some discomfort, for example the impossibility of having breakfast.

I recently had a very unpleasant stay there! Construction site ! No coffee! No water! No toothbrushes! No toothpaste! No charging cable for Samsung Galaxy! Fled at 4am paying full price for 3 hours stay! COMPLAINT TO BOARD SELECT CHAIN NO RESPONSE! NEVER SELECT AGAIN

The hotel's location is beautiful and close to transportation. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellentSuitable..But the room floor was dirty! This cannot be accepted under the pretext of reforms. Cleanliness is required in any case. You must stop receiving guests in such rooms, and I hope that Booking will stop doing business until the repairs are completed. It was a very bad experience, unfortunately!

Hotel is currently under renovation, breakfast at 16 euros per person is completely overpriced for what is on the breakfast buffet. However, the staff is very friendly.

The one star is still exaggerated, moldy smelling disgusting hotel, carpet floor, musty moldy smell, double room with 2 single beds, 80s retro, mold in the joints in the bathroom, dirty shower curtain, dirty drain, bulky waste chair in the room........ .....current construction site, we didn't know anything about it, were taken by surprise late in the evening when checking in, should have left immediately, spending the night in the car would have been better like in this hole ..... Complaint via Check24 was rejected, absolute disgrace! Everything documented on photos, it couldn't be worse...I travel a lot to hotels, including on business, I've never experienced anything like that!

When I was there, about half of the rooms were being remodeled, so unlike other reports, there were no problems finding parking.The minibar space in the closet was empty, but that doesn't bother me. The house bar is open for a long time. The room is clean and the bed met my needs.The breakfast is good, the selection is extensive. The counters are a bit spread out, but once you get an overview you know where to go.You don't notice that there is a busy street nearby in the room that faces the reception side.The city center is just a few minutes' walk away. It is advisable NOT to take the shortest route, as this first goes steeply down and then steeply up again. Instead, the route along the busy road is easier. (And I would never have thought in my life that I would recommend such a path!)Since the hotel was under renovation, one or two details may change.All in all, it was a very pleasant two nights that I spent there. I'll be back next year.

Unpleasant treatment from the staff at check-in. No sense of service, we arrived in the evening after a long day of traveling with a 6 month old baby and dog. The staff had a condescending tone. We booked a dog room via hotels.com and when we arrived we immediately received the comment "you did not tell us you were bringing a dog" we said we had clicked on that option via hotels.com and then received the answer "no you booked via expedia" which did not fit and did not feel relevant to divide in the situation. The staff continued to insist that we had booked via an external website and that it was therefore us who had made a mistake by not letting them know that we were coming with a dog. We had to pay 15 euros extra for the dog at check-in and 6 euros extra for parking which we were ok with but the treatment made us feel like we were bothering them.We did not get a sense of understanding and were not offered breakfast or a bottle of water as compensation for the misunderstanding. The only thing we were told repeatedly was "it is not booked through our website". Tired and wrong focus. After 10 minutes my husband was going to run down and get something in the car and didn't bring his wallet, he asked if he could buy a bottle of water that was set up in the room and could be paid for when we checked out, it was not possible.Not particularly fresh rooms, would choose another hotel next time especially because of the lack of service by the staff.

We were told when we checked in that the water would be turned off between 11 and 15, and there was also a lot of construction work going on, and the house was in urgent need of renovation work. Bedding/beds/towels were all fine

The three of us were in Dortmund for the Italy-Albania European Championship game and wanted to stay in this hotel on the way back. We called and said we had 3 rooms, whereupon we set off straight away - about a 15 minute drive. When we got there, handed over our passport and credit card, after waiting for 10 minutes - it was already 2 a.m. and we just wanted to sleep - I had to leave a cash deposit. The receptionist is constantly on the phone with another gentleman and he gave him the instructions. We didn't have any cash and I just asked him to charge my credit card and let us finally sleep. Again he had to call a guy who then said it wouldn't work and we should withdraw cash from somewhere. We then stopped the exercise and went to a motorway motel...Totally annoying for us and really stupid and cheeky of this hotel to just send us away... something like that has never happened to me before.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 a.m. and had to wait 40 (!) minutes until someone was at reception and we could check in. Although we rang and called several times, no one felt responsible. All that came from the employee was a tired “sorry” and a “compensation” in the form of a free drink was only given when asked.The hotel manager the next morning at least offered us a free breakfast, but unfortunately that didn't make up for the lack of sleep.To make matters worse, we were given a room that was right next to a room that was being renovated. We were woken up very rudely by the noise of construction sites.

Disaster.Paid €100 for two people without breakfast and without a double bed.The hotel only has 12 double beds so we got two single beds.The hotel is definitely not worth the money.Very old. Never again

Parking lot at WE very full. Elevator, large room. Everything clean with carpeted floors. Radiators, no heating, good beds, large wardrobe. Lots of storage options. Blackout curtains, no fridge. Breakfast - We had a good time.

Very disappointing stay! We had ordered a double room about four months beforehand and were allocated a two-bed room. Even when we asked, we couldn't be allocated a room with a double bed - they were all occupied.It was all the more annoying that the two-bed room was currently offered €14 cheaper than what we paid when booking in December.And it wasn't our first time in the hotel - but now it's our last time...
