I only rate the thermal baths. Unfriendly reception ever in a sauna. Changing rooms and showers ok. Slightly musty smell everywhere, especially in the steam room. Infusions great. Broken foot bath. Aesthetically a disaster, no concept, fun-fairy.Drinks and food are sometimes way too expensive. Unfortunately this is no longer an option for us.

The Mauritiustherme is a decent thermal spa. Although the showers and changing rooms are often not particularly clean, the loungers are a bit creaky and some clocks are broken, the infusions are varied, the sauna masters are friendly, and the outdoor sauna and outdoor pool have a pleasant atmosphere. Actually about 3 stars, I check in every now and then.Last week I was there for the first time with a South American friend who had never been in the sauna and who I wanted to show this cultural asset to. Since it was her first time, she didn't have a water bottle - I told her drinking water was important and she should buy one. When she got the bill when she left the thermal baths, we were very shocked. Seven (!) euros for a bottle of Gerolsteiner natural! Seven! I understand, inflation is harsh, energy costs have risen, staff need to be paid, but nowhere else have I ever paid anywhere near seven euros for a still water, not even on a plane or in a hotel. That's about ten times the purchase price, in a place where people (especially newbies) need water, I don't think that's okay. Especially since my girlfriend was not informed about this exorbitant price when she bought it.Unfortunately, there was no response at all to my friendly query email to the Mauritiustherme, which is why I now unfortunately have to write this review.

The hotel is very, very good in a class sense. Only the room has a few defects - the clothes hangers on the sink are too small and there are no sockets on the bed where you could possibly use your cell phone or other things, but it's now standard in other hotels. There is also a ceiling lamp so that you can switch on full-fledged light. It is only conditional light. In my room, I wish there was more overhead light required. And in the shower, there is a decent shower head at the front where water should come from above, but otherwise very clean and thorough. I would say very, very exceptional in the spa and sauna areas. I would also like to see an intimate area set up where couples can talk to each other, that would be fine, but otherwise an exceptional sauna area and swimming is really, really good, you have to say everything is very well maintained, you can do that say.I went with my partner for her birthday, as the buffet is very, very extensive and very good and very fresh. I have to say that the only thing I didn't like a little bit was that the birthday wishes weren't addressed in detail. Want to pay a little more attention, that's very, very important, that shows that the guests are valued, I didn't have the impression that everything was slapped down so carelessly, that wasn't that great. Maybe we could have done a serenade together or joined in like that, that would have been very, very great or, in particular, we could have given a discount for the birthday child. That would be a special I would have loved to see.

Booked a short trip with a sauna. Super nice room. Friendly employees in all areas. Sauna and wellness also ok. It wasn't entirely regulated whether clothing-free or naked. Delicious breakfast. Located almost in the middle of the city. We'd love to come back. The most beautiful thing is the roof terrace.

ATTENTION‼️‼️My friend and I wanted to have a nice weekend with an overnight stay and a thermal bath. What we didn't know is that the naked sauna and the thermal bath area are connected and everyone walks around naked. There was a very perverse atmosphere. We were looked at very strangely because we weren't naked. Less than five minutes later we walked out. For us that was horror and unfortunately it wasn't said specifically enough, neither on the website nor in person.Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very motivated and didn't explain anything. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately €250 was thrown out and the day was ruined.

The staff was friendly and the inside of the hotel was beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. The room (Deluxe) was very large... clean... and modernly furnished. What bothered me was the parking situation in the hotel itself - there weren't enough parking spaces and I had to drive into a parking garage which was 3 minutes further away. But we were able to leave our luggage on site. (Paid 31 euros in the parking garage the next day)Unfortunately we still had to pay 8 euros per person for a wellness package consisting of a bathrobe, sauna towel and slippers. I know it from other hotels for free. :-(There were cables hanging out of the walls in the hallway, but that didn't bother us.The restaurant is very nice and the prices for food and drinks are okay. The dinner was very tasty.Positively you could eat there in your bathrobe. The thermal baths had enough loungers and a large selection of saunas. An infusion was made every hour. What was a bit unclear was the question of whether with or without textile in the pool area. Some were without the others with.I would have liked to have loungers with infrared light or other heat source to relax. Unfortunately this was not available. The roof terrace is very large and extends over 2 floors. And invites you to linger in warm weather. All in all it was a lovely day and a restful night. The breakfast was also plentiful and there was something for everyone.Thank youWe'd love to come back :-)

The sauna is recommended. It is not a huge sauna area, but it is easily accessible and can therefore be easily integrated into everyday life. Also significantly cheaper than Mediterrana etc., but of course you have to make compromises.
