Passing for a single night with 4 (2 adults 2 teenagers), we had a good time. The staff are welcoming and helpful. In the city center, close to shops and restaurants.Parking a little difficult but doable (on a Sunday evening), we did not take the 10€ parking option. The hotel is made up of several buildings not always close, but that's not a problem. Our family room was clean, spacious and well equipped with comfortable bedding.Less than 10 minutes by car from Phantasialand.

Not entirely convinced, there is room for improvementUnfortunately, the stay in this hotel was not quite as pleasant as hoped. Some negative points spoiled the overall impression:The toilet lid wobbled, which wasn't particularly pleasant.Unfortunately, the bed was quite sagging, so sleeping comfort suffered. The cupboard was jammed and came towards you when you opened it - not exactly trustworthy. While showering, water leaked out of the cabin, causing a small flood in the bathroom. For people with claustrophobia, the narrow toilet walls are very uncomfortable. The television was far too small for the distance to be able to watch comfortably.Unfortunately, the rolls and bread at breakfast were not fresh and the multivitamin juice tasted very artificial. However, there are a few positive aspects that should be highlighted:The room was very large and bright, which created a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of power outlets, which is very convenient for business travelers.Overall, the stay could have been much more pleasant with a few improvements.

I went there for dinner with my girlfriend this evening! We had a Jochen Schweizer voucher for a candlelight dinner! We were warmly welcomed. A small, quaint restaurant, the tables were set appropriately for the occasion! The waiter was just as friendly and accommodating! You could put together a three-course meal from a menu card! At the next table we asked for a vegetarian meal and that was also fulfilled! All three courses were very tasty! In conclusion, I would say that the entire team are very good hosts!I would like to thank you again for a wonderful evening! We will be happy to visit you again soon!!

We only went there to eat and didn't stay overnight, so I won't be making a review of the rooms or hotel service. We were given a voucher for a romantic candlelight dinner for two. We traveled about 90 minutes from Essen to Brühl to have dinner. We were both very elegantly and chicly dressed, which unfortunately couldn't be said about the other guests. I personally found that a shame and partly inappropriate for the atmosphere. The staff, on the other hand, were elegantly dressed and left a good impression. The restaurant itself has a charming old building style combined with modern elements. Many candlesticks contributed to the romantic atmosphere, and the house bar on the ledge also underlined the cozy character of the room. The table was stylishly and discreetly set. I found it particularly positive that only the cutlery that was needed for each course was provided. This prevented sensory overload and made it easy for those who may not be familiar with table manners - you knew immediately which cutlery belonged to which course.About the food: The choice between two autumnal menus was fine, but I missed a vegan or vegetarian option. For the starter I chose the sheep's cheese in forest honey with a salad bouquet. The cheese was tender, but could have been lightly toasted on top for my taste. The salad could have been a little more colorful, perhaps with seasonal vegetables like pumpkin or carrots to give the plate more color and a more autumnal touch. The honey could have been refined in an interesting way by adding herbs. For the main course I chose the pork loin with beer mustard sauce, rosemary potatoes and creamed vegetables. The portion was reasonable and served on a large plate. I would have liked a little more creativity in the presentation here, perhaps also the option to pour the beer mustard sauce yourself, which would have given the whole thing more interaction. The creamed vegetables were portioned onto the plate by the waiter. The meat was very tender and the sauce was excellent, but the potatoes and creamed vegetables didn't convince me - there was a lack of flavor variety here.Dessert consisted of a stuffed apple pancake with raisins and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, this course didn't impress me in terms of taste. The dish lacked a more intense cinnamon note, and the ice cream barely tasted like vanilla. In summary, the food was quite tasty, but lacked the modern touch that I would have liked in the presentation and composition of the dishes. The service was OK, but not outstanding.

I spent five nights there including breakfast. Centrally located in Brühl. I didn't need a parking space. The used towels were changed daily. Trash was emptied daily. Room was fine. Bathroom was small and basically OK. Breakfast was the same 5 times, a plate with cheese, sausage, salami, ham, tomatoes and cucumber slices, a boiled egg, jam, orange juice and coffee or tea. I was served in the morning by a friendly gentleman. I give it three stars because there is still room for improvement.

Unfortunately my impression was not positive. Hotel is nicely centrally located, staff at reception are friendly, although not all of them speak German well. However, the room and housekeeping was a disaster. Furniture outdated, kitchen in the room, but no fridge, everything dingy and not cleaned thoroughly. The ceramic hob still had stains and there were no cutlery or dishes in the kitchen. Really NOTHING!!! However, if the kitchen feels like it takes up 70% of the room but you can't even use it, what use does the thing actually have? Bathroom not in the room, but in the hallway. The hallway light didn't work for the first two days. There is a soap dispenser at the kitchen sink in the room, which was completely empty the entire stay. I was there for 5 days and there wasn't a single sweep or anything like that, even though someone was in there every day. Garbage wasn't disposed of either and on the last day I came back to my room and housekeeping had forgotten to lock it again. Absolute NO-GO!!! When I asked why someone was in the room but the room wasn't even tidied up, they said that for long-term stays, tidying up was only done superficially. So superficial doesn't mean at all, like that. No wardrobe, just a chest of drawers in the room, with almost all of the bottoms hanging out. But the main thing is that the picture frame in the room is lit. I have no idea what you can do in Brühl for so long, but it was loud outside until around 2 a.m. every night. That was pretty annoying too. Basically only the reaction from the service staff was okay, unfortunately the hotel itself was not.

Perfectly placed for a trip to Phantasialand as the theme park bus picks up 5 mins away at the top of the road. …

We stayed here for 2 nights with a family friend and were supposed to be split between 3 houses because we booked through a third party. This was changed immediately without any problems so that our 15-year-old son was in the house with us. The rooms were ok. Our sink wasn't clean, there was some mold in the shower and the ventilation grille fell out of the wall. Then on the second day the used towels were taken out of our room (including the ones that weren't on the floor) and no new ones were brought in. And our son's room would not be locked again. We wanted to make this criticism on the day of departure, but unfortunately we weren't given the chance because they only called out from behind that we should just put the keys down. Too bad.And then another €10 per night for a freely accessible, very unkempt parking lot.
