As a couple, we stayed in this wonderful house for 4 nights with our dog.We were greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. The landlord accompanied us to our room and explained to us what needed to be explained.A surprise was already waiting for our dog in the room. Very attentive. The rooms were very clean and absolutely lovingly furnished. Nothing was missing in the bathroom, we had a modern, walk-in shower and a double sink. The old half-timbered house has its own charm - you love it or you hate it. We love it and enjoyed it very much. However, if you like straight walls, dead quiet and sterile concrete buildings, you shouldn't book here.Overall, our stay was absolutely excellent and we will surely visit this wonderful house & the wonderful people who live in.To the restaurant:First of all, we ate in this restaurant all four evenings. Absolutely unusual for us as we are very adventurous and like to drive a bit for good food. On this holiday, however, we were so captivated by the charm of the house and the residents - everything was just perfect. The kitchen is very, very good.Seasonal dishes paired with shopping at local producers, which makes the best quality of the ingredients processed by a cook who is passionate about it and, as you can see and tasted on every plate, made the profession a calling. We tried the vegetarian version as well as the fish and meat and we were both completely thrilled. Here at home we like to enchant friends and relatives with tapas and delicious food. We were enchanted in this restaurant.Full marks and 5 hearts for this extraordinary short vacation with nice people in a wonderful old half-timbered house. A chance find that we will definitely visit more often.

01/24A weekend vacation with lovely and VERY friendly hosts!!!We would particularly like to highlight the brilliant waiter Mr 'M'!!! 🍷🥇🍾7-course and 3(4)-course menu (also with wine accompaniment) = very tasty and very relaxing!Excitingly nested half-timbered house, lovingly decorated in an old-fashioned way (take a sweater with you in winter ;-)Unfortunately, the place itself doesn't offer that much - go for a walk/hike = ✔By car = ✔✔GO AND ENJOY❗❗❗❤A&M❤04/24“Checked” again :-))“Romantic menu” + room = WONDERFUL08/24Now the third time for us this year: 'Romantic menu with wine accompaniment' for €99.50.(Rooms from €112, breakfast €12 per person)THIS IS A MUST EXPERIENCE!The nice family and the waiter Marcel are GREAT!

A very nice building...but the food is way too expensive and not good.....Furthermore, the staff is totally unfriendly...If I pay 45 euros for a steak, it should taste good...

Beautiful house and great hotel and restaurant, with attention to detail, very attentive staff, very accommodating, incredibly delicious cuisine - we were pampered, had a very quiet, rustic room facing the garden and had an excellent rest. Only the walk to Au train station was unpleasant because of the busy street.

This review only refers to the restaurant, not the hotel. Despite making a reservation early, we only managed to get a table in the taproom. This was lovingly decorated, but the room itself was rather drafty and restless. Overnight guests also checked in here. Overall the food was a disappointment. The soup was only served lukewarm and was too salty. The smoked venison fillet turned out to be just normal venison ham. The second main ingredient in this appetizer was asparagus, which unfortunately was forgotten the first time it was served. This was then carelessly served in a small bowl. After astonished inquiries, the starter was then served in a rearranged manner. Overall, however, it was still a disappointment, as the accompanying leaf salad consisted of 3 leaves of lettuce with little dressing, very few strips of venison ham and the wild garlic pesto was not particularly tasty. The main courses were venison medallions and beef fillet. The venison medallions were very tasty and fried to perfection. As a side dish there was Schupfnudeln - at least five very hard fried pieces! So it's more decorative. For the beef fillet - also perfectly fried - the order was changed from asparagus to pointed cabbage. The portion of pointed cabbage that was then served instead was very manageable...For the prices charged for the starters and main courses, you can expect better and more side dishes. The bill was reduced somewhat, but overall it wasn't a brilliant performance.

A small, rustic hotel that is run with a lot of love. We went hiking here for a weekend and really enjoyed it. Great rooms with good beds, very good gastronomy with regional dishes and very friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Very rustic restaurant, small menu, dishes are solid, not 100% seasoned. Menu a bit overpriced (children's menu €28.50, two scoops of ice cream €7.90). Good home cooking with game and fish, seasonal dishes (asparagus, wild garlic), delicious amuse gueule, very nice service.Local products, very accommodating behavior.
