Price performance is completely okay. It has a rural, old charm that some people like, others not so much.

I really can't understand all the bad reviews. I've been in the Hotel Wildpferd for several days now and not for the first time, like many others. The price-performance ratio is crucial. Where can you get a room for 2 people for just under 60 euros? The room is functional and very clean. There is hot water in the shower and sink. The water drains away easily. There is shower gel and hair wash and a hairdryer. The toilet is clean and completely fine. The furniture is a pleasant, warm brown tone. If you put your mind to it, you can find scratches in some places. But there is no plaster falling off the walls or anything like that. The television works and you get the most important channels. The carpet is ok and clean. It is cleaned well. I also looked at a few other rooms, one was a bit small and the beds weren't next to each other, in another room a curtain was hanging down a bit, but otherwise ok. The breakfast is excellent for 8.50 euros. You can't get 2 rolls for that elsewhere . If you want extras, such as a particularly large room or roller shutters instead of curtains, you should book directly with the hotel, as it is usually cheaper. My husband and I are staying a few more days and would be happy to come back.

Room no 265 clean and spacious. Bathroom dated, hot and cold water difficult to mix with outdated tap. Breakfast fine if you like it, we don't eat bread and only yogurt with sugar was available. …

Very nice hotel. But if you pay 8 euros for breakfast and there's nothing on the table in the morning and you have to wait half an hour, that's an absolute no go. If it's 6 a.m. then breakfast has to be there too. I have to work and have appointments so I can't say half an hour.

I am adding opinions only for Mrs. Hauser (so habe ich Ihre Nachnahme gehort - sehr netten Frau :)). An error in opening the mailbox resulted in calls to the Notfall number for help. A moment ago, she was the only one who could help me, I was left with no other hotel options. Thank you, you were the only one who showed support. While talking to other people, no one bothered to call me back, and I just wanted to wash and sleep. An employee worth his weight in gold!Ciao!

All in all, I have to say: we found what we had booked. If you book a 2 star hotel, you shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel. So much for a few recessions before me.We are/were here for an overnight stay because there is/was a trade fair in Münster at the moment and I am simply not prepared to pay the exorbitant prices that prevail. The lady at reception and at breakfast and basically everywhere was super friendly from the start. Inquiries about good places to eat nearby were answered directly and in a friendly manner. I have experienced this differently in 4 star hotels. We booked a triple room and I have to say: it was really big and spacious. The bathroom, on the other hand, was a bit smaller and nicer, but the toilet, sink and even bathtub were all there, so everything a bathroom should have. The furniture and tiles in the bathroom are getting old, but so are we (now 42 😂)The breakfast was okay, not the largest selection, but completely sufficient, and the whole thing for a small thaler, namely €8.50 per person. Here too we have already paid €25 for slightly more choice elsewhere. For us, we would like to book another overnight stay when we are passing through.PS: Dülmen actually has some nice corners.

I have never seen such a dirty shower tray in my entire career of traveling. (THE bathroom was more than underground) There were black hairs of different lengths on the beds. …

Heating worked.Breakfast simple but good.Very tasty coffee.Ms. Bauer at reception was very nice and understood my criticism, which I had expressed directly on site.Images and reality are miles apart.Very unfortunate.
