**Evaluation****Employees:** ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Staff friendliness was average and there was no apparent effort to compensate for inconveniences.**Room facilities:** ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ Below average. Most hotels offer at least a kettle in the room, which was missing here. The cleanliness was okay.**Service:** ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆One of two elevators was out of service and the other only worked sporadically. I got stuck in that elevator and had a brief free fall before the emergency brakes stopped the elevator. Despite this serious inconvenience, there was no attempt by the hotel to apologize or make amends for this situation.**Location:** ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆The hotel is located directly on a busy tram line, which could be potentially disruptive. The distance to the city center is considerable.**Underground car park/parking space:** ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The underground car park was signposted as full, which turned out to be incorrect. A parking space was only available upon request.

The parking garage had a note saying it was overcrowded, but we were allowed to park there upon request and, as expected, there were hardly any cars there.The beds are very annoying, they keep moving apart.Instant noodles are sold in the lobby, but there are no kettles in the rooms, nor a refrigerator.It was always very warm in the rooms, apparently the air conditioning system wasn't working properly.It can very well happen that you end up in a room that is on the window side directly opposite a private apartment, which is also very unpleasant.

We arrived by car.For larger vehicles with a large wheelbase, entering the parking garage could be a little more difficult.Since the power apparently went out, you were supposed to call to get in, but it didn't work. So I got out of the car and went to the reception in annoyance. They gave us the card straight away and we were able to get in.It was checked in immediately, without a signature because there was a system failure. Nothing was an issue, so check-in went quickly.Disadvantage: They knocked on our door and wanted a signature that we had checked into the room.But nothing was said when I knocked; it could have been some crazy person. So please, if you want to get the signatures the next time there is a cancellation, please don't do it at 10:25 p.m.!!!!! And please mention reception or housekeeping.We were already in bed because we had to get out early the next day.The room was clean, the shower and the drain were already brownish, probably from limescale. A bit strange for such a new hotelCheck out was very quick and easy.Breakfast was completely sufficient. I don't understand the complainers at all.There was even freshly sliced ginger and lemon for tea. I don't even have that in 5-star hotels.

A very friendly and quick check in.Off to the room.Everything clean and attractive.The air conditioning did its job very quietly and very well 👍.Showering 🚿: no problem. Full of space.Good location. Man comes very quickly in all directions.Car parking: works!For 2 nights 🌃 great!!

Rooms very clean and modern. With the windows closed you can hardly hear the street. Otherwise very loud. A bathroom without windows and exhaust ventilation is not so well planned. Therefore only 3 stars for it

We were here for the second time and already knew that the hotel only deserved an "OK" rating and had minor problems with cleanliness, but the location was important to us.After the gentleman at reception needed a good 10 minutes to code our keys and check us in and didn't really know what he was doing (supposedly he reserved the garage for us for the following day - he didn't) and then took us to breakfast etc. without any further information We were sent to a room, we arrived in a room that had probably been released uncleaned. The bed was used and the bathroom was dirty and overall very dirty.At the reception they apologized and gave us an upgraded roomjust bigger). Unfortunately, this room was also absolutely dirty. Apparently it's standard practice to leave the toilet seats up and present guests with the crusted urine on the bottom. The glasses were also stuck on top and stained. In the living area the shelf was full of splashes of a sticky liquid, all the walls had stains, some pens, in the bathroom it was stuck in several places and since the shower has neither curtain nor shower screen, the entire bathroom is under water and has mold and lime stains everywhere.We then kept this room but passed on the information that it was unreasonable. Unfortunately, the hallways and elevators look the same.The breakfast is good and plentiful, but there were no free tables because no one was clearing away during the entire hour we were downstairs. Our room number was also not asked. We could have had breakfast for free. There was a lady there who barely spoke German and was busy filling up the buffet.The employees were all friendly and helpful, but the material they have to work with is simply unkempt and dirty. Underground parking costs €15 and unfortunately is now almost the only option for parking.We are IHG members and often stay in IHG hotels, but we will probably avoid The Niu Seven in the future and not recommend it.

The rooms in this hotel are not exactly the cleanest.There was a strange black spot on the floor in the shower,and there was still hair from the previous guest in the bed.In addition, the soap dispenser and the shampoo dispenser in the bathroom were empty upon arrival. In addition, there were no towels in the bathroom except for one that was on the floor in the shower, presumably to cover the large black stain.In addition, the staff in the hotel weren't particularly friendly - you won't find a smile or a good morning here.In addition, the hotel is not exactly in a very quiet place, as there is an S-Bahn stop right next to the hotel, where ICE (express trains) also pass through.There is also a terminus of a subway line right next to the hotel, which means you can almost constantly hear either an S-Bahn or a subway.Unfortunately, the hotel is also located next to a highway to Gerresheim, which means the noise level in the hotel is really high.

Great hotel in an excellent location if you want to visit Dusseldorf, but do not want to stay in the center. The hotel is super close to the tram/train stop and a tram/train leaves every few minutes. You will be in the center within 6/8 minutes.The hotel is clean and the breakfast excellent. Not a wide choice, but original options.The staff is quite unfriendly and stiff, which makes the experience a bit less.Parking costs €15 at the accommodation and is only possible between check-in times (3:00 PM - 12:00 PM), there are not really any other options. This was not clearly indicated in advance.
