I had a few days off at very short notice and spontaneously booked a room. Very nice telephone contact. The room was very nice and functionally furnished. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection in a small space. I particularly liked that there were small grain rolls. The service, who took care of the buffet and the warm drinks, was very friendly and quick. All in all, I felt like I was in good hands and will definitely come back.

Only applies to the restaurant, we cannot rate the hotel.We had similar experiences to many in the comments.We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our food, sometimes it wasn't quite hot anymore. The sauce was only added to the Jägerschnitzel after request. This was then charged an additional 1.90 euros. The vegetarian selection was underground. The sweet potato fries are quite expensive at 9 euros. Something that you probably wouldn't have been annoyed about if you had had a normal waiting time. Drinks sometimes came very late. We were never asked if we needed anything else. Overall, the service staff seemed overwhelmed.We should end up paying over 67 euros for two people. When we asked whether something could be done about the price because of the time, we were informed that this was not possible. We could have gotten a coffee on the house. But we were worried that we would have to wait far too long again. During our stay at least two couples left without their food. I've never experienced anything like it, really underground. We will never eat there again.

The food is tasty, the service is friendly and the view of the Weser is very beautiful. So far so good. The fact that only "3 stars" are given is due to the completely disproportionately long waiting time between ordering the food and its serving. Nevertheless, this location is worth a visit.

It's a shame about the time💩 Mega long wait for the food!!! Then it doesn't taste anything special and is mega overpriced. The young waitress deserves a ♥️ was very friendly. Attentive about the dogs. Brought water straight away without saying anything 🫠

The restaurant is TOP! All dishes are freshly and imaginatively prepared and presented... simply a pleasure! The location with the great beer garden under old trees is unique, a visit to this restaurant is a MUST for visitors to the beautiful city of Bad Karlshafen! I have taken my visiting guests there several times and we have always been thrilled. I can't judge the hotel but the whole ambience is just wonderful!

We were there on Saturday. A cozy terrace. Service friendly and attentive. However, it would have been better to make us aware that we would have to wait at least an hour. Then we would have looked for something else. On the subject of food: ordered both Jägerschnitzels. Then the hint came that Jägerschnitzel would be without sauce 🧐😵💫 please? I've never heard of it. You had to order gravy separately... But my jaw dropped when we got two mini, mini jugs about the size of a shot glass and for a whopping 3.80 euros for both 🤨 I find that very cheeky...The schnitzel was overloaded with mushrooms. The little bit of sauce immediately disappeared somewhere in the mushrooms... And you couldn't see it again... Let alone taste it... So for me it was just schnitzel with a bunch of mushrooms. Had nothing to do with Jägerschnitzel! It comes with a delicious sauce... The schnitzel tasted good, fries and croquettes were also ok. But all in all it was nothing special and in our opinion too overpriced

This was my second time eating here and again it was really good. The service was very friendly (also to my dog), the food was really good and the terrace with a view of the Weser was very nice. The price-performance ratio is also good.

Beautiful terrace directly on the Weser.We were there at lunchtime and just wanted to have a drink and something to eat. The whole thing ended up taking almost 90 minutes.It took a good 20 minutes from ordering to delivery of the drinks, and that was with almost 20 guests on the entire terrace.The lattes were great, the cake was delicious but the piece was very small for the price.The sweet potato fries with dip (which was the culinary bright spot) for €9 was too expensive.The Cesar salad with chicken was served without dressing in the first attempt, at first we were told that the dressing was on it, after pointing out that it would be served separately at the next table, we were told it had to be there...it wasn't!By the time the lady finally came with the dressing (she was happily serving cake on the way) the chicken was cold. So back it all. Now we had dressing but no salad 🤣. After another 10 minutes everything was finally there.In the end, the salad didn't live up to its name!The pulled chicken baguette was bottomless, a cheap piece of white bread, a bit of shredded chicken with sauce. Slapping together carelessly. There was no garnish in the baguette, only next to it there was some half-wilted lettuce and sprouts without any dressing and a senseless stewed cherry tomato.This is much better!The food prices were not reasonable for what was on offer.

We were here on Saturday evening and were disappointed for the first time. The soup as a starter came together with the main course. So it is clear that one dish will be cold.The green asparagus in the main course wasTotally soft and chewyAnd the dessert offered was no longer available.The prices were not appropriate for that.

We wanted to eat something there.The map is clear, but there is something for everyone. After our drinks and food were taken, it took around 15 minutes until we got our drinks. Then another 30 minutes until our food came. Unfortunately, one meal was rather lukewarm in terms of temperature (pork medallions with croquettes). The second meal (Hessiches Schmandschnitzel) was hot. However, the portion size didn't leave you nearly full. Apart from the temperature, the taste was good. It's a shame actually. Then we waited another 20 minutes for the bill.Conclusion: Only eat here with a lot of patience and if you don't care much for hot food.

We fled to the restaurant due to thunderstorms. Super nice welcome and top service... Keep it up!!Delicious salads and good food.Sitting outside under the linden trees is also possible when the weather is nice.
