Have been here for the second time. Very good location, good rooms, good service, very nice owners. If you are driving towards Poland or back, you should stop here. The city also has a lot of sights to offer.

Because of the almost exclusively extremely positive reviews, we decided to stay in this guesthouse for a short time - but we only realized afterwards that the vast majority of the reviews were at least 4 years old. After our stay the following conclusion:Positive: Clean and functionally furnished rooms, good parking situation in the courtyard or on the street, kettle in the roomNegative: no information (“welcome folder”) in the room about the things you would like to have at a glance; Bed linen and pillows wornThe breakfast offering is not satisfactory:- very, very clear selection of sausage or cheese that is not refilled;- Cream cheese, egg or meat salad (mainly own brands from local discounters) are displayed in retail packaging - I have never seen anything like this anywhere...- Butter on allocation (3 small pieces for two people on the first day), no margarine as a butter alternative- Cold chain for perishable foods is not maintainedThe older of the two owners comments negatively on the behavior of other previous guests at breakfast.As a result, we stayed at this guesthouse twice: the first and the last time. We wish all other visitors a better stay!

The three of us stayed here for two nights for a short trip and took up the three-person room. What initially sounded small and cramped turned out to be a two-room apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows and a beautiful view over the countryside. Much to the delight of the daughter who was traveling with us, in addition to the TV, kettle and hairdryer, WiFi was also available.😅We were able to park the car in the guesthouse's own parking lot.We were warmly welcomed (after initial difficulties with the unruly telephone system 😂) and made ourselves comfortable in room 1.The small buffet in the morning was lovingly prepared, and every table in the cozy breakfast room had a basic set of essential breakfast ingredients: cold cuts, jam, cheese and of course - COFFEE.From the guesthouse you can reach the Rosarium in no time and just a few steps further into the city center.

Small guesthouse in a quiet location on the outskirts of town, 100m from the Rosarium.Loving welcome from mother and daughter, who run this guesthouse as a family.Both are extremely warm, have an open ear and kind words for the guests.There's only a dozen or soFinding space means you are not anonymous.The rooms, functional and soberly furnishedare big enough and very clean. Only the shower works like this, unfortunately it is not at ground level.The view from the windowsweeps across a paddock to a grain field to the horizon.The mattresses are firm, but not too hard.Absolute peace at night, all the conditions for a restful sleep.The breakfast is good, coffee ok, the scrambled eggs are the best I've ever eaten.

The perfect accommodation to explore the wonderfully winding Sangerhausen and the fantastic Rosarium. Both can be reached on foot.Our room was a pleasant size and had everything we needed. Fly screens in front of the windows have also been thought of!The breakfast was plentiful, there were homemade jams: elderflower and quince - definitely try them!Conclusion: We'll be back!
