Really nice place for celebrations of all kinds. Staff is super nice, the rooms and outdoor area are very nice. Food was also great. Highly recommended.

We were passing through on our bikes and looking for an overnight stay in Barby.The hotel is somewhat inconspicuous from the outside, but has very well-kept rooms and a beautiful garden. The staff was very, very friendly and open-minded.We felt very comfortable there.

After a hot cycling day along the Elbe, you would like a shower. The annoying thing about this hotel is that you can only go there after 4 p.m. Now Barby is not a metropolis so you quickly saw everything. …

We celebrated our wedding in the Augustus edition at the weekend. Everything was lovingly prepared, the cake buffet was a dream and our evening menu was also excellent. Every single employee was helpful and courteous and all of our wishes were taken into account. The fact that we ran out of gin is absolutely irrelevant to us - for us it was FANTASTIC!

We stayed here with 6 people for one night during a heatwave. This was a mixed experience. Old and charming for sure. And a bit run down. We loved the fact that there is a restaurant on site. The dinner was excellent. Free range chickens roam around the restaurant terrace. Very hard working staff. But wifi was not working and staff said that it would be (too) expensive to fix! This is a huge problem. More frequent use of deodorant is also needed. And means to lower the heat would be appreciated. Indore bike parking is available.

I was passing through, I really liked it, a beautiful environment, very loving and attentive care, my dog was also lovingly welcomed. You could see very well-kept animals in a beautiful and suitable environment, alpacas, donkeys, horses and goats. You noticed that animals are very loved. Simply a very nice overnight stay with an animal surprise. Gladly again🥰👍🤗

We are from Barby and really enjoy going to the “Augustusgabe” to eat.The service is great and the food is simply delicious.The guests' wishes are fulfilled to their satisfaction.Just today we were there again and had roast duck with red cabbage and dumplings.It's easy to chat with the boss. :-)Always happy!
