Wolf Hotel GmbH - Hotel zur Linde

Unfortunately my last food pickup was very disappointing. I ordered a schnitzel, but it wasn't cooked through. After I complained about this, there was an extensive discussion until I was finally offered a new schnitzel. But there were problems here too: Instead of the original two schnitzels (for a whopping 16.50 euros), I only got one - and that without the fries that came with it. For this price I would have at least expected a quick and uncomplicated solution. This was definitely not the service I was hoping for.

Decent hotel with good value for money.

We are absolutely thrilled!!! The chicken is by far the best in the area and the price is unbeatable too. We like to go there and also like to order some to pick up. Only recommended!

Very tasty schnitzel and super nice staff!

Our visit to the Wolf Hotel zur Linde for a birthday dinner on a Sunday was a disappointment.Right from the start they wanted to sit us in the beer garden without asking, even though we had explicitly asked for a table inside when we made the reservation. After a short discussion we finally got a table inside. The chairs were too deep for the high table.While serving the drinks, the inexperienced waitress slipped the tray out of her hand, which left our clothes, a cell phone, the table and the floor wet and sticky. Something like that can happen - but there was no apology. At least changing the table was easy in the otherwise empty dining room.The waiting time for our food was around 60 minutes in the fairly empty restaurant. There was obviously chaos in the kitchen, which was confirmed by the loud discussions between the chef and a waitress. The other waitresses were talking about going to the bathroom. A waitress in the bar area blew her nose and then continued to prepare drinks and serve guests without washing her hands.During the checkout process, the spilled drinks were completely ignored - no apology, no inquiry, no discount. When we asked whether at least the drinks could be taken off the bill, we were told that this was not possible because the bill had already been recorded in the system. Card payment was also not possible. The waitresses present were overwhelmed by the situation. When asked how the mishap would be dealt with, there was confusion. The boss had to be called. After about 20 minutes of waiting, we were told that the boss had been reached by phone and offered us a voucher. Since another visit to the restaurant was no longer an option for us after this experience, we declined a voucher. After further discussion with the boss, we were finally able to get the bill for cleaning our clothes covered.We advise against visiting this restaurant. You didn't feel valued as a guest. The spilling of the drinks was an accident, but the handling of it was highly unprofessional.
