We had a great stay at the Dorf-Alm! The location is simply unbeatable – everything can be reached quickly. The staff was always polite and helpful, especially in the reception and in the breakfast area, where we were greeted with a smile and an extensive, delicious breakfast buffet in the morning.We stayed in a spacious apartment that offered everything your heart could desire with two bedrooms, a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchenette, a modern bathroom and a separate guest toilet. The rooms were clean, stylishly furnished and perfectly prepared for a comfortable stay. We didn't miss anything!The only point of criticism was the (partial) behavior of the security. The way security guards interact with guests could be improved. Even if it was a party weekend, the guest should be “king” – without unnecessary discussions or misunderstandings. It would be desirable for the hotel to keep an eye on this in order to ensure a good standard of service, including on the security level.All in all, an excellent hotel that we can warmly recommend and to which we would like to return - we look forward to 2025.

We felt very comfortable all around, the staff is competent and helpful, whether at the reception or in the restaurant. The food in the evening was a dream, it tasted excellent, big praise to the chef and his team. The wellness area is clean and attractive, the sauna and swimming pool are very easy to use.This year we failed to book a room in the wellness wing. These rooms are more modern than what we had this year, but we will be back and are already looking forward to it.

We had the great pleasure of spending a few days at the wonderful country hotel and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location of the hotel is simply perfect - both for day trips and for nightlife. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. I would particularly like to highlight the breakfast. The selection is huge and leaves nothing to be desired. It is constantly refilled and for coffee drinkers there are two stations to start the day perfectly. The staff was always friendly and attentive. All in all an absolutely recommendable hotel - thumbs up!!!

The last stays in a Goebel Hotel were generally satisfactory to sufficient. Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience at Goebel's country hotel in Willingen. I reserved a room at short notice through Booking, a double room for single use with a balcony for one night for €201. I tried to reserve the room directly by phone in advance. According to an employee, this was not possible. Now to the topic. Instead of a room with a balcony, I got an attic room with two Velux windows through which you could unfortunately only look at the sky. They were placed in such a way that if they had been opened, which would have only been possible with an elevation, unfortunately they were right next to the chimney of the house, so there was a risk that exhaust fumes from whatever would be drawn into the room. Furthermore, the heating in the inside bathroom didn't work and the whole thing was in the style of the 80s. I will waive any further details here in writing. (see pictures) When I complained that I was dissatisfied with the room, I was told that they could only give me 10 percent off the price because I didn't book directly but through Booking. All of this without any noticeable understanding of my dissatisfaction.

Spontaneously through an internet search we decided on our first holiday in Willingen and our first holiday at the Landhotel Göbel. We rarely go on vacation, and when we do we like to have “4 stars plus” so that nothing is missing. Small things, both positive and negative, add up to an overall impression. The only short negative first: the "double bed" in the premium triple room were slightly older single beds put together, which immediately pushed themselves apart every time you turned in bed. For us that didn't correspond to the 4 stars, Best Western, Steigenberger or Adlon can do better.After that there was only a very long list of consistently positive impressions and great little things: beautiful pool and spa area. The information that the sauna can be used at any time of your choice is a great extra. The 3 combination devices in the weight room are premium devices that even challenge strength athletes: a great detail for us. The loving play area is right next door to "park" the children. Well thought out! The location and the parking spaces right in front of the door are grade 1, it couldn't be better.The breakfast is first class, as is the dinner a la carte or buffet, with a very good price-performance ratio. The cheerful chef asks the guests himself, something like that is now rare and so valuable. RESPECT for that.The staff in general does not correspond to 4, but 5+ stars. You can tell from the little things (extra pillow in 5 minutes) of extraordinary communication: the staff is excellently trained and feels comfortable. After several days you can even notice the different characters of the staff, and everyone's behavior is first class.If a waitress plays a quick game of table football with our son in the hustle and bustle, that means to us: this is where the staff is trained,Customer satisfaction and appreciation are offered at the highest level.All in all, this leads to: We came spontaneously, we will definitely be back this year.It was exceptionally beautiful!

We had originally booked another hotel but were accommodated at the Landhotel Göbel due to a double booking. It was great.The room and breakfast were perfect. I give the staff 5 stars, attentive and very nice.The Göbel's Landhotel is very centrally located, which was very good.If you're in Willingen again then this hotel.

The main house looks nice, but if you are booked into the Dorfalm without asking, it will be difficult to give a positive rating. We are a long way from a 4 star room. The furniture looks very old and has probably been through a lot (based on the signs of wear). The carpet in the room already has some stains. The bathroom has certainly been modernized, but you can't say much more positive about it.The free WiFi doesn't work, at least for me. When I asked at reception, I received instructions, but they didn't work either. It's a shame, I relied on it to be able to work professionally.I didn't find the receptionist to be particularly friendly either.So my question about the room price was answered very succinctly in my opinion.I requested a room by email and quickly received a confirmation with a price.Now, while searching for the WiFi problem on the website, I discovered a completely different price for the rooms at the Dorfalm.When I asked why the price was so different, the lady said: “You’re a business traveler.”When I asked why that changed the price, she said “that’s how it is with us”…Unfortunately I can't give a better rating than three stars.I've had much better experiences in many other hotels.Addendum September 18, 2024I was very positive about the hotel's reaction. The very friendly owner took the time to discuss my review personally.In fact, I consider this to be very good customer service.

I had a really nice room. The mattresses were great. Everything was clean. The bathroom was very well maintained. The view from the balcony was great, we saw the garden but also the cable car and the mountains. The sauna area was bigger than I thought. The service was top notch and the breakfast too.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a large holiday apartment last weekend. Great! Everything was great and breakfast was served in the Dorfalm... there was nothing to complain about here either. A huge selection and everything was fresh!!!
