Unfortunately, my stay at the Wyndham Garden Kassel was an absolute disappointment. The hotel looks completely old-fashioned and the entire furnishings are long out of date. Everything in the hotel is crying out for a renovation - from the furniture to the sanitary facilities. Even simple budget hotels like the B&B offer a much better atmosphere and a more modern feel.The only positive thing was the friendly staff, but unfortunately that couldn't save the overall impression. The condition of the hotel is simply atrocious and I really wonder why this hotel still exists. For the price and what you get here, there are far better alternatives. I definitely cannot recommend this hotel.

We came to the hotel for a very short one night stay and are more than satisfied.Our double room was spacious, clean and the house itself really has a unique charm.We are thrilled with the Art Nouveau design and will definitely come back.The location within walking distance of the train station and the city center is also more than practical.The lady at the reception was very nice.

It's an older hotel. In some cases this definitely adds a bit of charm.The rooms are okay.But I wouldn't have paid 15 EUR for breakfast if I had known what to expect.Mini buns.All sweet spreads from dispensers - yes, even jam, which comes out undefined and sometimes ends up next to the (tasty) bowls for it.Sticky fingers are guaranteed.

Our stay was for work purposes, everything was fine, the rooms were tidy and clean, the breakfast was impeccable both in taste and quantity, we didn't miss anything.We would like to thank Natalie for her work at the reception, her attitude is exemplary, all my respect is hers!We also learned things about the city that we probably would never have known otherwise, he helped us in everything.

The hotel is not recommended. It looks dark, uncomfortable and unkempt. That's not a nice way to say "retro". There is no real light anywhere, not in the room, not in the bathroom, not on the stairs from reception to the toilet. The carpet in room 115 is stained, and there is a much older, very unsightly stain in the hallway on the first floor. Several extension cables were plugged into each other in the room so that there was power to the lamps on the beds.There is only 1 key for the underground car park, you have to pick it up at reception and return it after use. So quickly stop in front of the hotel and run up, or vice versa. Breakfast was until 11 a.m., at 9:30 a.m. there were no more rolls and hardly any sausage at the buffet. Should you have asked?Check out is at 12 p.m. and housekeeping was in our room at 9 a.m. and wanted to clean. We weren't surprised that when we checked out, the nice but very nervous lady didn't ask us whether everything was OK, as usual in the hotel. The location is extremely noisy due to the street in front of the hotel. There was only a fan available to cool the room. When we arrived, the staff was standing in front of the main entrance smoking. That doesn't make a good impression.

Rooms look fine. A bit of Art Nouveau. Without air conditioning you would like to open the window, but with a very noisy Biergarten we closed the window again. Then too hot. Lady behind the countertold me to 'take it easy' when I asked a question about parking... Seemed a bit inappropriate. Breakfast €15 extra. Everything else was clean and tidy. Wifi: 3 Mb: that is outdated! So I turned on my own connection of 300 MB.

I booked the hotel through Booking.com and stayed there for 2 nights.The only things that speak for the hotel are the very good location (directly at the train station), the relatively large hotel room and the friendly staffDisliked · First of all, the reception area in the hotel looks quite inviting and also recently renovated. The rest of the hotel makes a "shabby", outdated and outdated impression. The carpet in the upstairs hallway was stained and desperately needs replacing. The carpet in our hotel room was also full of "undefined stains". The furnishings in the room were also very dated and not comfortable. It consisted of a very large bed, side tables, 2 chairs and a small table. The furniture all seemed very dated and outdated. The curtains in the room also looked dirty and outdated. The bathroom was also an imposition. The bathtub was equipped with an extremely germy-looking shower curtain and a shower hose that no longer really worked. The comfort was zero.We can definitely not recommend the hotel in its current condition and strongly recommend that it be renovated.Unfortunately, we had no choice but to book this hotel because we couldn't find another hotel close to the center due to a convention and the associated high volume of people.The price we had to pay for a double room for 2 nights is also a disgrace. We had to pay a whopping 298 EURO for the two nights. This really borders on outrageous.

Very attentive and courteous staff, this gives the hotel a definitely high standard. I would like to mention Christian separately, you can find one in a million such employees.
