No warm welcome, no elevator, not even help with carrying the heavy suitcases. No room cleaning. Open feminine hygiene bucket - no emptying either.... . Very spartan room furnishings, no TV. Room itself very clean. Breakfast was ordered from a menu and was okay. Only on one day did we have to wait more than 30 minutes for breakfast. View was nice.

We walked up the many steps. Very nice view over Fulda. We were able to have a delicious cappuccino on the café terrace and enjoy the great weather. The monastery garden invites you to relax and linger. It was worth it.

What a beautiful place! The view from up here is stunning. Even from our room we could look down on the baroque old town of Fulda. The hotel is located in the former monastery walls, which we found particularly attractive. So you live in an extraordinary attraction with a monastery garden, church and a place with 1200 years of history.From up here you can be in the old town in fifteen minutes. Of course it took a little longer to get up, but it's such a beautiful path that it's not difficult. You can also take a circular path down to Fulda and up again.What is particularly worth mentioning here is the breakfast included in the price: all dishes are of exquisite quality! Everything was excellent, including the rolls and the filter coffee!An ideal stopover, but a stay of several days is certainly very attractive. As I said: This is simply a special, beautiful place!

The hotel offers a friendly atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast very good with excellent service in the monastery cafe "Flora"We really liked this monastery hotel.We were definitely not here for the last time.Absolutely clear recommendation!

A great experience, if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place! The monastery chapel at Christmas time, a must, beautiful.The hotel rooms are plain and functionally furnished, a bit antiquated but we are not in a 5 star hotel!Staff, location, coffee Flora are unique!!!Good!!!

A very nice hotel and monastery in Fulda. You have a wonderful view of the city and the surrounding green spaces invite you to reflect. The hotel itself seems inviting and slightly grounding in its own way. It is furnished in a very modern way, but still has a kind of nostalgic charm.The rooms were clean, the furnishings were good, the heating worked and the wind whistled pleasantly through the halls of the house at night. The staff was very friendly.Apart from the fact that you have to walk up the mountain and you may have to go down into the city to eat there, I can only warmly recommend the Frauenberg conference monastery. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We spent the New Year on the Frauenberg. Two nights. Unfortunately, the number of Franciscan monks in the convent is becoming fewer and fewer, so people are naturally looking for ways to somehow preserve the monastery …

I was there from December 16th. on December 17th, 2023. I think the location and everything around it is just great.The breakfast and the service were really great.The room is completely sufficient. Everything you need is there.The service from Ms. Krug at the reception was simply great. Super friendly, very service-oriented and also solution-oriented.There was a deficit in the bathroom, which I had mentioned and Ms. Krug took care of passing it on and decided to pay a little attention to the complaint.Next time, I would like to be there again.Best regards and all the bestBenjamin Dressler

What a beautiful place. We stopped there on the way south. Good decision, despite New Year's Eve, a very quiet, nice place to live. The breakfast was great with the quality of the food on offer. This won't be my last visit there, thank you.

Absolute enthusiasm. I spent one night in a room with a shared bathroom directly under the roof, with a panoramic view of the Fulda skyline from the skylight. As far as I can tell, only 2 rooms share the same bathroom, during my stay I felt like it was all to myself. When I asked on the day of arrival, I was able to check in much earlier. In general, the monastery is incredibly professionally geared towards the hotel industry. For example, I have never had such an easy journey (everything is meticulously signposted and was well informed in advance). I read that some rooms in my price range probably don't have a window, I had one and I have the feeling that when the room was allocated, care was taken to allocate the most attractive rooms for the guest. WiFi worked straight away and every one of my questions was basically taken out of my mouth and answered in the perfectly designed and informative brochure in the room. You walk 10 minutes to the edge of the city center, the exercise is good and leads picturesquely down the monastery steps. The included breakfast takes place in the lovely monastery cafe nearby and is, so to speak, a winner in terms of its charm and delicacy. Everything tastes delicious, you can and everything is offered to you on top - extra egg, second round of coffee, Bircher muesli on the side, glass of orange juice with the hot drink - it was just fun to feast in the morning. All the staff is super competent and friendly. 10/10

I was at an event there and stayed overnight once. The large hall is very beautiful. Unfortunately there is a bit of a lack of sockets. The view is very good.

I visited Frauenberg Monastery for the first time...beautiful grounds. Was only there for a short time. I just admired the garden from above. But it's wonderful to sit on the terrace. It's self-service outside, but it's perfectly fine. Delicious cakes, local products and a small shop round the whole thing off. But we will come back and stay longer and take a closer look. I can't rate the rooms. Unfortunately no pictures were taken

Fantastically located monastery, large room, very clean with enough storage space, no TV or radio. Ascent without a car with a suitcase is a bit difficult as it is paved with stairs. But you will be rewarded with a great view. Breakfast was very good in the in-house cafe. Highly recommended if you just need some peace and quiet.

Very simple room without TV. Unfortunately it was very warm because it was difficult to ventilate. Employees are all very nice. Breakfast is brought to the table. Location really great
