Small, very clean hotel, rooms functional and yet nicely furnished, every room has a balcony, routine check-in, staff very friendly, the attached restaurant also has very friendly staff, breakfast is rich and of good quality, parking spaces are right in front of the house , the hotel is very centrally located, the place itself is very small... I would definitely book here again!Update: booked again this year, (almost) nothing has changed: the staff is still absolutely friendly and helpful, although the aggressive sounds that come from the kitchen into the dining room are quite disturbing and raise doubts as to whether that is the case harmonious as it looks. I personally didn't like the way complaints were processed - I wouldn't have let myself be dealt with like that. On the whole, the Charivari is still always worth a trip.

Discussion about food quality and value for moneyFollowing on from the previous article, we unfortunately cannot draw a positive conclusion here either.We are aware that at a price of 85 euros per person per night you cannot expect gourmet cuisine. However, it is not acceptable to only be served the cheapest discounter sausage, and only made from pork. This selection is neither tasty nor reasonable. The alternatives were also disappointing: the selection of ten different types of muesli and cornflakes turned out to be inedible. Each variety was at least four weeks old, dried out, tasted stale and had also taken on the taste of the storage room.So much for breakfast.The dinnerDespite the negative experience at breakfast, we ventured into dinner. Unfortunately, the quality was disappointing here too. The dishes - cheese patties, pizza bread, salad, mushroom risotto and pizza - were extremely satisfying in terms of taste, but the quality and quantity were in no way commensurate with the price.The pizza bread, although advertised as containing garlic, was so dry, brittle and tasteless that it resembled crisps rather than bread. The pizza dough itself was of inferior quality, which resulted in a dough that tasted reminiscent of frozen products and also had the consistency of puff pastry. The tuna salad was so small that it was eaten in five bites - and at a price of 11.50 euros.The other dishes were similarly unsatisfactory in quality.In summary, it can be said that neither quality nor friendliness can be found at the Hotel Charivari. Guests are served poor quality and stale food, which is particularly disappointing given the already high holiday prices. One would expect to receive adequate food at least in a hotel. But this hotel is miles away from even that.

The Vintage Hotel Charivari is run by a very friendly and familiar team. If there is anything, just ask and the boss herself will take care of it. The accommodation is furnished with great attention to detail in a vintage style, the comfortable rooms are very clean and almost new, some with a balcony. The view of the mountains is fantastic, there is a beer garden and even a covered outdoor area to relax.The office is on the opposite side. on the opposite side of the street (approx. 50m) but that doesn't bother you. Everyone will find something at the rich breakfast, in the afternoon you can order coffee and cake and in the evening you can order from the extensive and varied menu. The food in the restaurant is very tasty, I ate there every evening. From pizza (standard round and with a special, very tasty dough in square) to pasta and grilled food to burgers, everyone will definitely find something. There are parking spaces directly in front of the house for cars and sometimes even a covered parking space for motorcycles. An ideal starting point for motorcycle tours. I would like to come back because I felt very comfortable here...

We liked it very much. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were even taken back to the train station and the chairlift. They are also child and dog friendly. Thank you for the lovely time with you.

The location isn't a big hit, but it's perfectly fine to have a beer or a coffee there in the afternoon. The drinks came super quickly and are great prices.However, we waited over an hour, if not longer, until the ONE condition came where we were allowed to order food. About the food itself: The Kaiserschmarn is super tasty, I can't recommend the Pinsa.

Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, we were forced to cancel our reservation.Despite the last-minute cancellation, we were treated very friendly and accommodating.We will reschedule our stay as soon as possible and are already looking forward to it.

We stayed here for a short trip and were completely satisfied. Location is good as all places (mountains) can be reached quickly.Breakfast was good and there was something for every taste, from sausage to cheese to jam.Would definitely book again.

We stayed at the family-run hotel for a week's winter vacation with our 5-year-old daughter. We felt really comfortable in the modern, vintage-style room with a mountain view balcony. The breakfast buffet had something for every taste and the restaurant with a great winter garden offers everything the family could desire, from Allgäu dishes to pizza and toys. We were always lovingly looked after by the boss and the staff. The central location and proximity to the Hörnerbahn is an ideal starting point for a day of skiing, hiking or an excursion. A thank you also to the team at Charivari Ferienwohnungen.
