A very nice hotel. I'm really very surprised by the hotel. Everything clean, super large bathroom. Breakfast buffet is really great, everyone can find something. What meI particularly like that everything is designed so that wheelchairs and blind people can find their way or get around without an accompanying person.Definitely worth a recommendation.

I travel a lot... and this was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Beautiful rooms, even better bathrooms. Tasteful and practical. Breakfast was very good but maybe not with enough dairy free options. Climbing wall right behind the breakfast room.

Beautiful hotel centrally located in Kempten. We stayed in a family room for one night while traveling south. It was clean and spacious. The highlight of the hotel: the climbing wall on the ground floor, where the children could climb another round after breakfast.

If you are looking for a hotel where everything is geared towards disabled people, the Allgäu Art Hotel is 💯 percent right.The 3 bed room had 2 bedrooms and was equipped with a kitchen and a balcony. The room with the third bed had a nursing bed. The toilet could be set up and down electrically and could be moved electrically to the right and left. The wellness area, which we didn't use, made a clean and immaculate impression. The breakfast buffet was very attractively arranged and was constantly replenished. We got the coffee ourselves from the coffee machine, which offered different types of coffee.We were completely satisfied and would be happy to recommend this hotel and we will come back.We wish all employees only the best.We also find it very positive that the hotel gives people with disabilities the opportunity to work within the scope of their abilities.

The Allgäu ART Hotel is only 6 years old. We'll be here in 2022. Everything seems relatively new. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant offers a lunch menu with two dishes and a small menu in the evening. Everything tasted very good. The selection of drinks is small but nice. The prices are reasonable. The hotel is completely barrier-free. There is an excellent wellness area with 3 saunas on the 5th floor. Everything is very attractive and equipped with great attention to detail. A roof terrace with lots of loungers and a cozy relaxation room complete the offer. It is possible to enjoy various massages. The equipment in the fitness area is older than the hotel. Maybe a donation? But everything is in good condition and fully functional. What surprised us is that even though the hotel is only 6 years old, no air conditioning was installed. We would have liked that because it was very hot when we visited. The sliding doors in the bathrooms cannot be closed completely due to accessibility reasons. There are always a few centimeters left open at the edge. This is not for everyone. But this could be remedied with plastic profile strips. We also have something like this on our sliding glass door in the bathroom at home. When booking, it is recommended to take a room at the back with a balcony. It doesn't cost much more but is much quieter. The Alpine road is loud. This is because there is a tall and wide house opposite the hotel. Noises from cars or conversations from smokers or pedestrians in front of the hotel are transmitted very loudly to the upper floors, like through a chimney. It's not possible to sleep with the window open. Otherwise the location is ideal. Close to the center you can easily reach everything on foot. There are parking spaces and a car charging station in front of the hotel. The car can also be parked in the spacious underground car park for a fee. We'd love to come back. In the meantime we have returned to the Allgäu Art Hotel in 2024. Of course the prices have increased somewhat. The reception is staffed by friendly staff. The wellness area is still great and our room was too, this time with a balcony. The kitchen and the service in the restaurant have fallen off a bit. The cheese spaetze could have been warmer. The salad plate was clear and had little dressing. Something was delivered upon request. Bread was only available upon request. My husband hadn't finished eating yet when my plate was already cleared away. When I asked if we couldn't wait until everyone was ready, the answer was that we always do it that way. The bill was for a salad plate with chicken strips, but I only had salad. Price differences approx. 5 €. Here too a complaint had to be made. Unfortunately, dinner was not enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was okay again. In the meantime we went to the Art Hotel twice for lunch. The food was very good and so was the service. Probably dinner was a blip?

Very friendly service, tasteful decor, spacious. well-kept and clean room. The picturesque city center can be reached in a few minutes on foot. All in all a pleasant stay with good value for money. We'd love to come back!

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night, but everything was fine. The hotel gets 5 stars from us. Generally applies to hotels. Free parking in the middle of the city, the ambience and coziness are particularly noticeable.The inclusion of disabled people is also just great!We'd love to come back when we're in the Allgäu again ❤️🥰

Very cozy, clean, modern hotel in the city center. There is a sauna with hammam and a relaxation room. You can come to the sauna by appointment and without staying at the hotel (17 euros per person) At the reception we were met by a girl named Paula - responsive and pleasant) We will be happy to return more than once!

We have been staying here on our way to Italy for years and have never been disappointed. We particularly like the private nightcap on the private balcony.The idea behind the hotel business is worth every support. Even though I am severely disabled but mobile, I find the atmosphere unique and worth getting involved in.Current update:There is no longer anything set up for breakfast, you have to gather everything together.For stays of several days, room service is only carried out on request.Of course, both of these are not reflected in reduced prices, but they are services that I expect every day in the hotel without specifically asking for them.So far we have found the staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating. This time the lady at the reception was so busy with her cell phone during check-out that we felt like we were a nuisance, which was confirmed by the lack of enthusiasm in accepting the room card and making the payment.No question about the stay, no good trip, just the obligatory question about a bottle of water.We still have a booking for December. We will re-evaluate the above points and hope that we do not have to look for an alternative.

A very friendly, well-Feel aligned hotel. As a wheelchair user it was the perfect hotel. I didn't have to worry about whether everything was barrier-free. I would come again and again. But there is a drawback. The location/hotel is intended more for short vacations.

In my opinion, there are certainly better equipped hotels in Kempten for the price. In addition, the service, especially from a dark-haired male person (hotel manager?) at the reception or the room behind the reception, is subpar. No understanding of the hotel guests' problems. The main thing is to pay, nothing else matters. An ART Hotel will never be an option for me again! Anyone who sleeps at the back also has to deal with noise.

Went just for the restaurant, and as much as I would like to recommend the place I cannot. Main food was good, but not getting proper cutlery was surprise. Really tiny dessert with 8.50€ was some frozen cake, probably microwaved. Service was okayish, as the waitress was kind, except they did not hand out wine list, and not for once they came to ask if we would like something more, or enjoy the food eventhough there were not many customers (I would have wanted to order more drinks). Actually,even to get dessert we had to get up to go look someone. Instead they were busy wiping the next tables. That would be okay if they did not spray some cleaner just one meter away from you, towards your plate, of course.We also had some paid discount book which should be mentioned when you place the order to get the cheaper main dish for free, unfortunately we remembered it right after placing the order but did not find anyone to correct, so we told as the waitress came back with drinks, but it was too late they said, that they cannot fix the receipt as that would need some boss to come over. Well, shouldn't you call the boss over then, if none of you 3 waitresses are not able to fix one wrong pressing in your table service system? Okay, did not want to bother ourselves to start demanding, we where just confused at this point, but surely would not have needed another waitress who was not serving us, to come and just tell us again how we made MISTAKE. Not customer friendly at all, so far they just keep telling how we make mistakes, and obviously need to pay for that.They also asked how you want the beef steak but then when trying to order medium minus they start explaining how it is not possible, not safe or so, only well done or medium is okay? Maybe just write it on the menu next to that 28€ steak, instead of pointing out how customer's normal wish is wrong, or is there something wrong with your beef comes to mind at this point? With another dish they asked if we want it with mushrooms, and you just say why not, but they just didn't mention it will cost extra, and the option was not mentioned in the menu, neither in the receipt separated as extra, just higher price. Everything just seemed to go sideways in this place. If I were you, I would recommend to carry your money elsewhere to get the service and some nice eating expirience, as you are supposed to get with that money.

Went for dinner. Were very disappointed. Very expensive. For €16.90 a portion of cheese spaetzle with a small side salad and the macaroni with vegetables and shrimps in a tomato sauce €18.90. Cheese spaetzle wasn't enough. I wasn't full and the spaetzle was completely overcooked and just porridge. The noodles
