Cheap but dirtyFirst the positive: reception very friendly, mattresses good and bicycle garage great.We were there in 09/2024 and got a room that was clearly outdated. Since it was cheap, it seemed ok at first glance. But then the shock in the bathroom. The toilet had obviously not been cleaned after the previous resident had completely misbehaved. The inside of the seat and bowl is completely "filthy". After complaining the other room looked similar but cleaner. However, the floor in the bathroom was sticky, the toilet seat was loose and there was mold in the shower.WiFi only worked every now and then.I really have a hard time with such an assessment, but there is no other option here. Vegetarian dishes and starters were quite good. The slightly dry minced steak also tasted good with the tzatziki. Very friendly service. The King Ludwig Hall is a great place to sit.

If you don't mind the train station construction site (September 2024) in front of the hotel and the rattling of tires on the road surface, this is the right place for you. Great garden, the outside areas in the sunshine in the morning. The room was simple and functional, everything you needed was there. Breakfast good.What I didn't need at all was this incredibly pungent smell of room fragrance that hung in the curtains and throughout the room for hours. Just leave that stuff out. It just gives you a headache, a bad mood and a lot of unnecessary chemicals.

The hotel and especially the rooms are very old. The shower was renovated so that new tiles were glued over the old ones. The rest has 70s charm. Absolutely out of date. The rest is also from the 70s/80s. …

The shower drain hadn't been cleaned in ages. I had to clean it myself at 11pm so my wife could take a shower. There are always smokers outside the window, even at 5 a.m. in the morning. You can't leave the window open otherwise wasps would constantly come into the room. A rat walks by while having dinner outside. My wife stated that we need long beds because I am almost 1.90 tall. In return we get a room with a shower under the sloping roof.

The receptionist was very nice and we were able to store our bikes in the garage. The room had no comfort, even students wouldn't like it. It wasn't completely clean either and the curtains were torn. You could access the balcony from the hallway, which the employees probably used to smoke because our bathroom smelled of smoke. The price-performance ratio was not given € 142!!! Included breakfast which was very good.

Rooms and staff were good. We wanted to plan a stop there again on the way back from our vacation in Italy, but strangely it would cost 70 euros more, that's incomprehensible, so we didn't book

Beautiful Hotel. Is opposite Marktoberndorf station. Nice spacious and clean room. With balcony. Spacious shower cabin. Good service and friendliness of staff. Only WiFi not very good.

This is the worst hotel!!! Not only were the dishes dirty, everything under the bed linen was dirty, but to catch up, some idiots were sitting in the cafe under the windows screaming and neighing like horses!!! Although we were told that the restaurant is open until 10 pm!!!🤬🤬🤬It’s hot and stuffy outside. I want to open the windows, and there are these idiots!!!😡There are no words! And the time is already 12 at night. We have to get up at 7 am, and these people are screaming🤬🤬🤬 Therefore, I don’t recommend this type of hotel to anyone!!!😡🤬

Nice hotel, nice room and big bathroom, typical German quiet place, restaurant inside. No reception only at certain times. Very weak WiFi, which couldn't be fixed even after repeated requests. Also, the sign in the elevator states that there will be no daily cleaning of the room due to staff shortages. Restaurant prices are high compared to the quality of the food. The restaurant prices at the entrance are outdated, they are displayed at about half the price in reality

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was extremely good!A nice hotel, it was clean, but not very clean, especially in the bathroom it would be nice to take a closer look. The cleaners would be men, maybe that's why.

The bathroom was a dream in the family room, there was a very large bathtub and a shower over the terrace. We were also very happy, but the cleanliness wasn't really goodThere was a nice layer of dust on the TV, there was a sock under the bed and there was hair in the shower. Room service is currently only available upon request, which wouldn't be a problem for us if it was clean upon arrivalThe breakfast buffet was relatively small and the kitchen service was so overwhelmed that even the bread was empty in the meantimeThe location is very nice, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the castleDespite the deductions, we would come back again

On the surface everything was clean. When you looked at it the second time it was probably more of a CNever seen how much dirt can be under a bedThe room 92 is very bright and friendly, everything was clean on the bed and there was no moldThe room's layout is just stupid because both rooms are separated from the bathroom and there's no way to go to the toilet in peaceThe staff is very friendlyHowever, there may have been an emergency due to illness, which unfortunately resulted in the poor service. The breakfast for €14 would have been really good. The food would have been refilled from time to time, which was unfortunately again due to a lack of staffThe location is good, it takes us about 30 minutes to get to the castleI would like to come here again if the management takes care of the staffRoom 92 has a terrace with a view of the Alps when the weather is goodA minibar is missing 🙈

Ate at the Greek restaurant, the food was ok. But we waited 1.5 hours for a plate of gyros and another half an hour to pay. It doesn't work at all!

No booking recommendation!The hotel room (room 72) is in a very shabby condition.The cleanliness of the room is catastrophic.- Stains on the floor carpet- The bathroom had marks from the previous visitor.- Towels were dirty and wet upon arrival, and even after they were replaced there were foreign hairs in the towels.- There were animals behind a picture frame window.-Smeared mirror surfaces- The interior is very worn (just carpet and armchair)The receptionist was not at a loss for excuses.1. Shortage of staff in the cleaning area, as trained staff would no longer be available. The nationality of the cleaners was also associated with cleanliness.2. Nowadays booking guests only want cheap accommodation and no one wants to spend more money.3. The condition of the room was put into perspective by the age of the hotel (18 hundred something).
