I was at the Hotel am Alten Park for a conference. For train travelers, this hotel is perfectly located at the main station and yet very quiet.The service is very attentive, the rooms are clean overall (except for a large spider...). Since I always immediately look up at the ceiling for spiders, the corners of the ceiling could be cleaned a little better. Bathroom is a bit tight, but ok. Beds are big enough and you can take free non-carbonated mineral water to your rooms in the hallways.Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. The buffet is very rich (also scrambled eggs and soft-boiled eggs). At lunchtime (only for conference groups) food is served at the table. In the evening there is a buffet, including a salad buffet. There is a refrigerator with free drinks in the meeting room. You should take these with you to the dining room when you eat, because you have to pay for every drink there or you don't get water at the table. Very annoying for conference guests because drinks should normally be included in the price.The meeting rooms are large and equipped with everything you need. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel, where individual travelers can also stay, for a short trip to Augsburg.

I was the only guest here as part of further training.Location: The hotel is not far from the train station and just a few minutes' walk from the city center. All public transport is nearby. It's almost impossible to be more central.Parking: The hospital and several practices are directly adjacent and there is also a large parking garage. This can be used cheaper as a hotel guest.Room and hotel garden: The room was very small at first glance, but had everything you needed. The bed with a comfortable mattress, a TV and fan. I had a great view of the hotel park. The bathroom was really narrow but sufficient, everything was very clean. If you don't use the cleaning service, you will receive a drinks or ice cream voucher. The hotel park was extensive and varied. Nicely planted with lots of flowers, a small fountain and different seating areas.Service: The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen and restaurant staff seemed annoyed and impatient to me. The organization was confusing in terms of seating and food.Food: As conference guests, some plates were prepared for us. Otherwise there was a buffet at lunch and dinner, with high-quality and delicious products. The breakfast was varied. I liked the fully automatic coffee machine with different selections.Conference: We were provided with a very large room. There was a fridge in there with drinks that were free all day. The same drinks would have to be purchased in the restaurant. Fruit and pastries were served, as well as coffee and pretzels.It's a nice little hotel and serves its purpose.

The hotel and garden are very clean and well maintained. The lady at the reception was nice, competent and helpful.Very close to the train station (just a few minutes walk) but quiet. Downtown is also within walking distance.There are a few good snack bars in the immediate vicinity.We had a family room and it was clean, large and comfortable. This family room consists of 2 rooms connected by an internal door. This means you can stay together as a large family (2 adults + 3 children).The hotel and garden are very clean and well-kept. The lady at the reception was nice, competent and helpful.Very close to the train station (just a few minutes walk) but quiet. The city center is also within walking distance.There are a couple of good snack bars nearby.We had a family room and it was clean, big and comfortable.
