My impression, even though we have been to Centro several times, is as follows. The rooms are still the same after years. Nothing will be renewed or adapted to today's normal standards.TV, has three German programs. Toilet is not clean, the toilet bowls should be replaced with a lot of money.Floors dirty. Elevator disaster dirty floor that stinks.Breakfast is just fine, you have everything you need. Even black eggs that should actually be white. I don't know if they're lazy or what... you don't put something like that out there. You have the feeling that you are being closely watched and scrutinized by the staff when you eat your morning meal.Yes, not the same as it was years ago. The bosses should take a better look...Best regards, we will now look for something else...

The room was very large and the view of Lake Constance was great. Unfortunately the floor was dirty and sticky, and brown dirt came out of the shower. The breakfast was very clear. On the first day the fully automatic coffee machine didn't work and only a thermos flask of coffee was put out for all the guests. Some guests got coffee from the McDonald's in the house, that's not possible. It was quiet despite the large construction site in front of the house, but we were also on the 4th floor

The Centro is practically centrally located right next to the train station. It's certainly simple and plain, but cheap, clean and everything you need is there. …

Hot water didn't work.Unfortunately, the selection at breakfast does not correspond to what the price suggests. You get a bottle of “table water” put in the fridge. But since there is no label on the bottle and the cap was simply screwed on, I immediately thought that it could be Kranenberger's own bottling.

Not recommended!Apart from the very good, central location, the stay was absolutely disappointing. There is a huge construction site right in front of the hotel, which we were not informed about in advance. We were woken up every morning at 7 a.m. by an excavator. It was almost impossible to think about opening the window at 34°C with a toddler and a baby, in a room on the south side, where incomprehensibly only the rooms on the north side are air-conditioned?!The rooms were only superficially clean and the bathroom had an open slat ceiling, through the slits you could see cables etc. in the false ceiling. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. Baked rolls, canned fruit salad and generally very little choice. The "vegan selection" consisted of three slices of >vegetarian< cold cuts and oat milk, which was already empty at 9:30 a.m. on the third day. So we were forced to shop ourselves and bring our own toppings. At over 100€ the night was simply miserable. The staff was very nice, but the construction site was so annoying that we left a day early. And although brown water came out of the tap in the bathroom at one point, there was still no response to any concessions regarding the price. (The boss was apparently not in the house when I asked.)

I do not recommend this place to stay. The reception is only available until 9:00 p.m., they don't have parking, they don't have air conditioning so in summer you have to sleep with the windows open so you can't sleep well because there is a train station opposite. In the surroundings you can only dine at McDonalds and it is very expensive by the way. The rooms are large but “Ludwigs II” style with horrible pillows. The bathroom was clean. I don't recommend it.

Construction site right outside the door which is not stated on the website. So you will be woken up by excavators at 7 at the latest. Brown water from the tap, breakfast very poor with little choice and canned fruit. Vegetarians and vegans generally have a difficult time here and have to bring their own toppings and milk alternatives. The rooms are advertised as air-conditioned but only a few actually are. The heat builds up in the rooms.

We were only there one night (luckily) on August 24th. The room cost a whopping 190 euros and was without breakfast and air conditioning. When it was 30 degrees outside, we also had close to 30 degrees inside. Because the train station was directly opposite, opening a window was out of the question... in short, there was no sleep that night...In general the hotel has more of a youth hostel feel than a hotel feel. The furnishings in the room can also be described as sparse rather than comfortable. The bathroom is from the good old 80s.Only the location is good, as it is really central - as the name suggests. But it really doesn't have to happen again.
