Good hotel unfortunately right on the main street.Room TV and good bed, shower was ok. A mosquito net on the window would be helpful and I would have slept better.Great breakfast and nice service.Restaurant in the evening was good.Large selection and great service.

Rickenbach is quite small. If you need peace and quiet and like hiking, then this is the right place for you. The hotel is very large, has rooms with bathrooms and balconies. Restaurant next to it with good cuisine, mainly Italian. The breakfast is correspondingly pleasant and sufficient. Everything is okay in terms of price. Service was great and accommodating. They are trying to do everything, including bringing a lot of things up to date.

Wonderful hotel, very kind and humble staff, the owner available for any need, the food is delicious especially the Italian one, eating pizza here is like eating it in Italy, quality products, the rooms are very welcoming and warm for the winter

Owner very friendly.The hotel and rooms are very old but everything works and the balcony is very large.There was a lot of hair in my bed.Also, there is no fire alarm in the room. (Fire alarm mandatory since 2014)We had dinner in the restaurant. My pizza was very watery somehow.

There were 17 people with our bike club for three nights half board on a short vacation. The employees and the boss were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were older but clean. The food in the morning and evening was delicious... We felt very comfortable.....

Food was really good, but the stairwell in the hotel was completely filled with smoke from the bar in the basement. You can't go bowling at all when the bar is open and you'll almost suffocate down there.

A visit to a restaurant ended with stomach cramps and diarrhea in the toilet.The pain started 1 hour after eating, and 3 hours later there was no end in sight.

The hotel and the rooms correspond to the 70s standard. Unfortunately, everything seems pretty neglected. There doesn't seem to be any love for the hotel industry here, although there is nothing to complain about at least when it comes to cleanliness. The food and prices in the associated pizzeria are ok. However, communicating with the staff is a little problematic as only one of the staff is somewhat fluent in German. All in all, it's more of an emergency solution and doesn't necessarily need to be repeated.
