This is a perfect stopover on your way to Italy. Beautifully situated with panoramic views. Very friendly employees. We slept in the wing where it does get warm in the room in the summer. That's really the only thing. Extensive breakfast, everything fresh and very well cared for.Absolutely recommended!

I have to admit, I have never given a 5 star review to a hotel. Even when I search...I can't find anything negative. No mold in the shower, super well-kept hotel and grounds, perfect service (thanks Simone) and everything in the extension was TOP modern. So really - great. Thanks also to the owner and for offering us guests such a great location.

5 stars for the room and the grounds. 3 stars for the breakfast staff as I always only got my cafes when I asked. Hectic running back and forth without paying attention to the guests. Therefore 4 stars overall.

Just an incredible, wonderful place on the border of Germany and Switzerland. If you are visiting Basel and want a quiet environment, this is the place for you. Lovely owners and, in general, all the service staff treat you in such a way that you feel at home. The atmosphere and the clients themselves seemed somewhat aristocratic to us, which adds sophistication and comfort to the establishment.The rooms have large ceilings, the bed is comfortable, the pillows too, the linen is clean and smells nice. The bathroom has a pleasant smell, hand and shower products also have a pleasant smell, perhaps they are even natural.The breakfast is very tasty, varied, the staff is kind.Free parking. The hotel is surrounded by its own garden with simply stunning hydrangeas, the garden is well-kept, some plants require a little more attention to them, but I think the owners know this. Nicholas recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner where we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, we wish you prosperity, we will recommend you and come back again!
