We rented 2 Deluxe rooms that were cozy and spacious. However, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Since the first night I have back pain and neck pain and my colleague said the exact same. The hotel experience loses a lot because of this.

We ended up in this hotel because of its vicinity to the local hospital, where we had to be due to a medical emergency during our holidays. The hotel itself is nothing too special. A bit dated luxury style, like there are so many across Europe. Our room was large and clean. But the service level was absolutely above and beyond expectations. We were treated with so much kindness by the staff while we were in distress due to our messed up travel plans. Stereotype-based prejudice made me expect them to follow the rules but they made exception after exception to accommodate us as well as they could. At breakfast, I told our 3-year-old that water melon had run out, so he had to pick something else to eat. The conversation wasn't in German, but apparently the staff overheard and understood, because they brought a plate of freshly cut water melon to our table ten minutes later. I haven't come across that level of service in any hotel of this price category before.

A great place to stay and I. The centre which allowed me time ti still on the evening as I was travelling alone. The hotel itself was great, and they had accommodated vegan options in advance of my arrival for breakfast which was great to see.Rooms were amazing and spacious and gym with great also. The only change would be to add a water cooler as you need to keep hydrated and this was not a service. Also water is a necessity and this should be something in every hotel as a standard but I only had 1 bottle the first night and that was it.

Amazing hotel but with a fatal flaw - you are restricted from fully controlling the thermostat. I stayed in February and I was woken up every night by excessive heat. They only allow a temp delta of 3 deg from some arbitrary set point. Doesn’t matter how nice a hotel is, if you can’t sleep it sucks. The windows do open which allows you to cool it quickly but if you leave the windows open all night it will get too cold.

The location is optimal, just next to the train station. We had a nice looking, clean room. The bathroom was great. The power outlets are not well distributed. The staff at the night shift was a little bit annoyed but did her job. The breakfast was satisfying.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms. Unfortunately it was way too hot in the rooms, I complained about it but they don’t let you change the temperature by more than 2 degrees. I had to sleep with the window wide open with all the noises of the street .. on top of that their bedding is way too soft also. It hurt my back and I woke up so many times each night. I spent the whole week there due to an exhibition in Köln. I will never come back to this hotel. Too bad cause it has potential

I did stay in this hotel many times before without issues. It looks that after a name change, and maybe under new management, they lost all sense of business ethic and can’t be trusted when comes to reservations. …

Concerning the hotel itself, it was pretty nice in term of room. The entrance was ok even if the first people I met was not understanding that much English. The bad part was the restaurant, when you enter no one tell you something so you don’t know if you need to wait or if you enter and sit yourself. Then the tables were empty and no meal or drinks card given when they ask you to order. So after asking they bring meal card but forgot drink card. When the first meal arrived, my table was still empty, no dishes, no glass, no tissue. After asking I finally received a fork and knife. And I received the drinks after the first meal. I really don’t recommend their restaurant.
