Very spartan and simply furnished. So far so good. The S-Bahn runs 3 meters from the window, but is not as loud as you would think. What was really annoying was that there was an emergency exit sign in the room. At night you don't need to turn on any lights, it was daylight in the room at all times. Complete failure. When I asked what that was about, there was only an unfriendly answer from the hotel. If the hotel is built in such a way that an emergency exit sign has to be hung everywhere, then this should also be clearly mentioned.Everything is digital, which I think is good, but several hotel guests were standing in front of their doors and coming into the rooms...All in all, absolutely not recommended.

One of my worst nights...Since we looked for accommodation in Hamburg relatively late, had few demands and didn't have 100€ p.p./p.n. We wanted to pay, so we chose this hostel. We thought: a bed and a toilet are actually enough for us. We only found out on site that our demands could be a little higher. The proximity to the “Hamburger Straße” subway station is really positive. But the low price has to be justified somehow…The fact that there is a shared bathroom really didn't bother us in any way. When we opened the door to the room, a subway was passing right next to the window. If we opened the window, we could basically get on the subway straight away. The noise in the room is bearable and not really annoying, especially since there are even electric shutters and the room can be completely darkened at night (or so we thought). So we pulled down the blinds. When we turned off the light, the awakening (or rather the “not falling asleep at all”) came: There is an emergency exit sign hanging above the door, which lights up all night and brightly illuminates the room around the clock. In addition, the mattresses are covered with a slippery, crackling cover. Even though we like hard mattresses, the mattresses in this hostel are a bit too extreme for us.The shared bathroom is right next to our room and probably the bathrooms on the floor above us are also in this location, because (worse than the subway) the toilet flushed or the water drained from the shower and sink felt like it was about every 5 minutes through our room. The drain pipes must be hidden in the wall right next to our bed.Maybe it was just extremely unfortunate and we found a room where everything comes together. Maybe the rooms facing the street are spared from the subway and drain. We can't judge that. All I can say is that after a night in this hostel I don't feel fit for a full day of sightseeing in HH.

Staff super unfriendly. Bathroom is shared and is not cleaned. The hostel is not suitable for recommending.Plus it's super overpriced for the facility.People don't do that to you, look for something else.In the evening a train passes by every 2 minutes and prevents you from sleeping.

The furnishings are functional, you don't need anything more. You can get anywhere quickly. If you follow the instructions, the electronic key is great, you don't have to wait for anyone to hand over the keys.I would book again at any time!
