A hotel with no reception is not a good experience for anybody in this day and age. I understand new tech advancements like a check-in device at the front door etc. but are they for real? Maybe after 40-50 years it’s gonna be a thing but certainly not now. I am glad that I booked only for one night tho. The place looks haunted and hollow and very quiet not in a good way.

We booked via hotels.com, and the room was listed as a four-person room, with the possibility of an extra bed. We then paid extra for an extra person. When we arrived there were only four beds, and not enough beds for everyone. We called the service phone and got to speak to a person. He informed that they had no information about us having an extra bed and that he could not fix it. We asked if there were rooms available, and if we could get one as compensation. He confirmed that there were rooms available, but that we could not get a room as compensation. He blamed hotels.com and was generally rude and unhelpful. When we then asked what we should do, and that we thought that getting an extra room as compensation was not too much to ask, he just hung up and ended the conversation. We ended up canceling via hotels.com, and finding another hotel with room for everyone. The room itself looked ok, but smelled faintly of a cellar. The area doesn't seem pleasant, but probably good enough for a night in transit. For us, it was the very unhelpful and rude service that made the worst impression.

Value for money considering it was “Messe” - spotless clean - free parking a big plus and a “Büdchen” next door 👍 Automated and easy check in.If you need a place to sleep and do not spend much time in the room, this is your place.

Good value basic room, clean, good quality towels and be linen, comfortable mattress. If travelling by public transport, good bus options during daytime, but 15 min walk to S-bahn in the evening. Easy automated check-in. Reception not staffed 24 hours but receptionist helpful, was able to borrow an iron and ironing board.

There was no breakfast, because ''it's the week before christmas!''.That was very disappointing, because the breakfast on Sunday that I had was very good and cheap.A lot of sounds travel trough the walls, but earplugs solved this. Friendly and accessible staff. I would book again!

I stayed here for one night. The checkin process is a breeze. Simply use a machine to get the keys and allow yourself to get comfortable in your tiny but alright room. The bed was comfortable and clean. Hot and cold water was working in bathroom. You have small table and a cupboard and a television. It’s ideal for sleepover.

Nice, small room. Interesting concept to have a shower and sink in each room but a shared toilet. Bed is small but very comfortable. Water gets hot in shower and sink which is nice. No access to fridge, microwave, kettle or anything like that, even in shared spaces, and there aren't many restaurants within walking distance. Staff were cold, except cleaning lady who was very pleasant. I booked because it was close to Barclays arena. Exceptional wifi. You can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway though. Even with earplugs. Perfect for 1 night, but not more than 2

Incredibly accomodating hostel - I arrived hours early after transport fell through and they offered me another room which was ready to take me at 11am! Internet works well, the place is warm and clean, and huge rooms for the price. Would highly recommend to budget travellers.
