We booked our stay to attend the Euros. We had no expectations as we were only using the hotel for sleep, parking and breakfast. And it is what is. A 3-star, slightly run-down hotel. Do not expect it to be more. …

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service experience I encountered during my recent stay at your hotel. While the rooms themselves were satisfactory, I regret to inform you that my interaction with a member of your staff, Hunfeld, was exceptionally unpleasant.During my check-out process, Hunfeld displayed a level of rudeness and disrespect that I have never encountered in a hospitality setting. This behavior left me feeling humiliated and dissatisfied with my overall stay. As a frequent traveler, I must emphasize that this was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in a hotel.I believe that such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. As it stands, I cannot recommend your hotel to others if this type of service is representative of the experience they can expect.

Highly NOT recommended. The hotel accommodation was ok but the attitude of the staff was extremely bad. When I needed to fill in my address information, the staff gave me a pen and threw it away, which was very rude. Later, I approached another staff member to ask about paying for parking and he spoke to me in a very unfriendly tone, making me feel like I would be attacked at any moment. If only one staff member has a bad attitude, I think it should be an exception. It turned out that 2 had such an attitude, so my conclusion is that the quality of the staff in this hotel is very low, and it is not recommended for travelers who consider themselves to be human beings, unless You want to be treated like a dog. Originally, I thought I was Asian, but when I looked at the other European faces at the counter, I also received the same rude treatment. I really think this hotel is terrible. Never stayed in such a bad hotel.

This hotel was fab. Our room was large and warm. Whilst some people may feel the decor is a little dated, I thought it was charming and gave it character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice of buffet dishes.

Extremely vegan unfriendly. I asked for some plant based alternative to milk at the breakfast buffet and was answered that I should have ordered it the day before while checking in, which is already weird enough in 2024. I was hoping to get some for the day after, since I had asked the lady in charge of breakfast to buy it, but she forgot. Is it so hard to have a liter of plant based milk in the kitchen? Embarrassing.

I visited the hotel with my husband for the weekend, the receptionist on the 5th of August 2023 around 4pm was rude and did not have time to address us, the room we had on the 7th floor had some bathroom defects, the breakfast was great on the 6th and I was a bit confused with their setting for eggs because there was no labeling on the dishes presented , I saw a dish that resembled chia seeds only for me to try and dish out and realized it was stones, it was indeed an honest mistake and I got scolded by the kitchen attendent who cursed on top of her voice to the hearing of all the guests and reprimanded me like a child. It was so embarrassing and demeaning. My experience was nothing short of traumatic. Training on customer care should be instituted and people with bad temperaments should not be in client facing positions hence my one star ⭐️ rating of this hotel. As I type I am emotionally traumatized and shaking all over.UpdateI received a mail from the owner who apologized profusely for the inconveniences caused and assured me of dealing with the situation. He promised a better service should I visit again. He stressed on his commitment for excellent customer service and his resolve to ensure that all his guests have a pleasurable experience. His quick response to my situation has resulted in my 3 star ⭐️ rating of the hotel. Indeed he does not condone with such attitudes from his staff. Aside that the hotel can be one of the best in the vicinity if proper Customer service is institutionalized.

Expensive, rooms are OK well the second room was, no air conditioning in the rooms so when you have hot weather like I had yesterday after spending most of the day traveling first thought was shower, second was bloody heck sweaty within 10 minutes or slightly under, restaurant perfect, breakfast well I like my cornflakes, bowels a bit small at home I would have used 4 of them...does that make me a pig...you decide, the milk for cereals yuk must be evaporated milk or seemed like it...evening reception seems to be in too much of a hurry to get shot of his clients to their rooms, at least that was my thought second night...down side for this trip it was and has proved to be interesting last trip I will ever be able to make, due to my old age, upside is brilliant I actually got inside the building were I was born November 1950 did get to meet a very nice couple no names mentioned who invited me into their home 3rd floor and allowed me to photograph it for posterity, best of all had been invited back, unsure if I can do it..tomorrow is my only spare day of this 3 day adventure into my past...as for my grandmother's home were I was born, well I was told its now let as an air b & b maybe I can pass my details over never know, I would pluck up the energy even though my lungs are ruined due to my smoking too many cigarettes as for hansa platz, I have been told now a days its littered with people of dubious character and I do not mean the residents
