Nice hotel and very good service from the staff. We got a very big room for 3 persons - the sofa bed was ok to sleep on.  …

Two important things on a very short stay: a good bed and a good shower. The bed was ok but the show not. Being forced to sitting in a bathtub to be able to shower is terrible. …

Staff were kind and offered amazing customer service. The room was nice and cool for the warm summer and beds were just the right amount of firm. Breakfast options were many and well prepared. We would happily stay again, and enjoyed our visit here.

This is a standard Mercure hotel, not much different from any other. There are two very minor points to consider when you plan to stay here:- the entrance to the parking garage is very narrow. With a bit of a wider vehicle, that might not fit.- the hotel restaurant is a bit upscale. A quick and simple bite to eat is not what the menu offers. Please respond with a ❤️if this review was helpful to you. Thanks!

I would say this is your average Mercure Hotel - zero atmosphere - practical location for the offices nearby, but absolutely not convenient for Airport or Hamburg City. There is only a bus link outside the hotel and it's a 40 minute ride to the city. A taxi from the airport takes at least 30 minutes, is 35 Euros, public transport takes over an hour. The comfort room (not basic) is quite bar, it does have a shower (rather than shower over a bath) but sadly mine didn't drain well. The bed is comfortable albeit a bit low. There was also the obligatory Accor sofabed, but the wipeable cover was simply grim to sit on.Ample desk space, a large window which could actually be opened (great feature when your room smells of dog like mine) and the air conditioning works well. The room is quiet thanks to the additional door for the bedroom. No fridge or mini bar, but there is a kettle, instant coffee and tea, along with a beer- and a wine glass.Breakfast is okay, safe but uninspiring. The cost when booked separately is 20 Euros. I ended up cancelling mine as the buffet really isn't good enough and you may as well go to a local bakery.Whilst I will come back on business in an office by the hotel, I'll probably stay closer to the city next time, not least as there is zero choice for food nearby.

This is a good mid-priced hotel located within walking distance to many companies as well as DESY and is easily reached by public transit. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The only down side is the tub-shower arrangement featuring a half-pane of glass to keep the water from spilling onto the floor. Unfortunately, since it is a half-pane water will invariably get on the floor unless you are very careful. Also be aware that as of this writing, the hotel's restaurant is not open for dinner except on Friday and Saturday. Fortunately, there are several reasonable restaurants within walking distance.

Great location for event at Trabrennbahn, but can be expensive on concert night.Room was clean and adequate. Only complaint was the shower guard on bath was inadequate and we needed to mop up pools of water after every shower no matter how careful we were

We stopped there for a night on our way south. The place is aging and could do with an update. We also had dinner there, and the food was mediocre. The breakfast bar is good, and the staff friendly. Expensive for what you get.
