We've popped in to the restaurant during a busy Saturday lunchtime - and despite the place was packed (we probably got the last free table), the staff was smiling, friendly and professional - and we were served with our order within 5 minutes. I haven't really seen such well organised restaurant in Germany - it was satisfying to simply watch the ease they handled the constant flow of guests.The pumpkin soup was delicious and the view is definitely something of worth to stop by. Prices are on the higher end of average, but considering the location and the quality, still acceptable.It was a great hour or so we spent there.

We stayed for two nights in early August. Everything was great. The view overlooking the valley was phenomenal. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I also had a great time running on the lane by the vineyard. Only complain is that the room doesn’t equipped with A/C, therefore, our room facing valley was very hot due to the direct sun exposure.

A wonderful place. No matter if you're cycle, drive or hike, you'll always have a great time going there and will always be rewarded with a great view. It has a amazing location. You can see the Main Loop and all the small villages along. Beautiful. To the restaurant itself, it is a bit more expensive, but it tastes incredible. They choose to cook slightly different but this makes the whole meal a million times better. Like add grapes to a curry souce and it is a whole new meal. I'd definitely recommend going there.

Beatufill view (of course), professional and friendly staff, high quality ingredients. The only negative was the grilled bone marrow. There was barely any marrow in mine, just a tiny hint of a marrow fat and the bone. A bit pity but the other dishes were good.

Very good food with friendly and efficient service. Interesting menu and great wines. Moderately expensive. Make a reservation before you go - it does tend to get very crowded on the weekend. Parking is available outside. Take a refreshing walk afterwards through the adjacent vineyards for a stunning view of the Main valley.

Very well arranged in the middle of the vineyards. Nice room with everything you need. The view is just gorgeous. A refurbish cloister with the touch of old walls. Choose a room with river view and you will love it. And have a stop at the restaurant!
