Excellent campsite, very busy but good relaxed atmosphere. Good bar/cafe on site, lots of wasps! The lake is beautiful.

Nice campsite. Relaxed feeling. On the lake. Good amenities. Child friendly. Honking train is an unfortunate disturbance but OK, that's just part of it.

Beautiful place, camping facilities are basic but clean , direct on the lake. Train track runs behind the campsite but the last train is at 11pm so that's ok but it can be noisy. SUP boards can be rented here, nice restaurant, good food but make sure you have cash with you.

I've never stayed at the campsite but visit regularly for the café-restaurant. They are really friendly, the atmosphere is great. Fat weekend they had a live band on who were really good too. The owners are putting a lot of effort into making it a fun and relaxing place to stay. Of course, the location is great, Schliersee is wonderful. One tiny improvement would be for the café to be more aware of allergens, especially gluten, and to offer at least a couple of Gf. I know it's niche, but it would really help people out, and they clearly do care about their customers! Usually we come to eat and I get to watch my family easy and can only have a drink. The pizzas and burgers apparently are excellent.

Very friendly staff, clean campsite right on the lake. Will gladly come again! The booking process/software was also nice to have a look at real time availability. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good spot to camp on a quiet lake. :)

This restaurant review is relevant for all the foodies out there that are looking for non-traditional, healthy clean meal or snack while taking a hike along the lake.✅ The only place at Schliersee offering home made vegan and vegetarian food bowls as well as pasta, pizza, snacks and drinks. 😍✅ Plant-based milk alternatives (I ordered cappuccino with oat milk) to stay or take away✅ Chilled vibe with indoor and outdoor seating✅ Natural water fountain❎ About 15 min away from town on the camping ground. I recommend it when you take a hike around the lake.I haven’t tried the food yet (had a cappuccino) but will pass by next time I’m in the area.

The sign that greets you as you enter this campsite perfectly captures the vibe of the place. We booked our space extremely last minute on a random Tuesday in December after our planned campsite decided not to honour our booking or their own time schedule. We rang this place and a member of staff (might have been the owner, didn't catch his name), said that he would be gone by the time we'd get there but would leave the barrier open for us and told us to find a space. We arrived, and sure enough, the barrier was open for us to just drive in. Upon arrival we were greeted with amazing lake views and extremely clean toilet and wash facilities. He then knocked on our camper door a few hours later and we all had a chat and sorted out camp fees in our camper before he left us to eat our dinner for the evening. This was our last campsite after an outstanding winter roadtrip through Bavaria and he single handedly saved us from what would have otherwise been a terrible end to our trip.This truly is a hidden gem and would highly recommend it.

This camping is something extraordinary - not only because of its beautiful location and clean camping ground - but also because of the wonderful staff, that just takes the concept of "customer service" to next level. Always smiling and friendly, they went over and beyond to help us out and make sure our stay was great both during and after our stay, as I forgot some equipment and they went over and above to help me out. Absolutely awesome place! Straight by the lake with the best views of Schliersee lake, it has a "Surf beach" atmosphere, specially at the Beach bar where you can enjoy the sunset and have a cocktail or a Gin&Tonic from an old WV bully converted to a bar.
