Great hosts with a lot of heart. I made myself a snack in the evening because I was there on foot. And even gave me a two euro discount because I didn't have enough cash with me. Which I find very nice. A great view with a balcony. I also received hiking maps from the hostess.

You live under the same roof with your host family. The furnishings are simple but comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and explain the surroundings and Bavarian culture. The house is quite noisy and if you are sensitive here you should take earplugs. There is no WiFi.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zitherklaus. The room was super clean, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and more than plentiful. The location is hard to beat. Many excursion destinations can be reached on foot directly from the accommodation and you don't need the car. The hostel people are super nice and helpful and also gave us good tips on our excursions.
