For two nights now, Friday and Saturday, we've had to endure loud, thumping dance music at night from somewhere over the river. This is not the campsite's fault, but it's something to be aware of.In other aspects, the pitches are good and well-serviced, though the nearest shop is 2.5km away. The site is well placed for cycling along the riverside, though most of the cyclists that use the path seem to resent the presence of pedestrians. If it wasn't for the music, we would visit again if we were in the area but as it is I would go for someplace quieter.

Our group of 12 Scotland fans had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campsite during the Euros in June 2024. ||Toni and his team could not have done more to make our stay memorable at |busy time for them. …

Was an awesome place to stay, lovely helpful staff. Nice and relaxing also so close to Bonn etc ether by bike or train. Lovely and open sunny space for tents and bikes. Was the perfect stay while bike touring up the Rhine. Thanks again .

We stayed here when cycling the eurovelo 15 and had a good time! The owner was very helpful, and showed us where we could use the washing machine for a few euros. The tent area was nice, and the Biergarten was great along the water. You're not allowed to swim, but it was great to put my feet in the water and sit on the rocks. The toilets and showers were fine. I saw in some old reviews something bad about them but I think they upgraded and got new ones. Only the ones with sinks to brush teeth seems older, the other ones newer.

Campsite is ok, toilets and showers clean but small, basic playground, but as per most campsites on Rhine these days 63 euros for 1 night and 4 small 1 man tents!!! Stay in a hotel 🤣

It was full with campervans of soccer supporters so it was a bit loud. The green for tents was not the best locations. The showers and toilets were not of the best quality. No electricity.

Absolutely spectacular riverside pitch. Lovely fresh brotchen every morning and very helpful lady on reception. There’s a fabulous riverside walk. Mehlem village, is about a mile and a half away, and is lovely. Next time we’ll definitely take out a boat.

We stayed here for a night in August 2023 while cycle camping. There was a very warm and relaxed reception. The toilets and showers were very clean but cramped, due to their being portacabin facilities. There was a separate camping area for tents but the layout meant that there was little privacy. There was no restaurant on site. There was electricity but very few connections. It was ok for an overnight stop but not for any longer.
