Hotel booked a noisy party, didn't bother to notify us so maybe we choose not to come, forcing us to arrive get our rooms then find out about the party (which was booked much after our booking) then leave the hotel to look for another, with two kids, thanks a lot for the great experience, completely amateur hour in my opinion

We went to the restaurant with our parents for lunch on a Saturday. The ambience is very nice, as is the location of the property. The service was courteous, polite and very friendly. On that day there was a shooting festival on the site, which was well attended. It would have given the service every reason to be stressed. But no trace of it. The food was very tasty and cooked with love. A clear recommendation for us. We'd love to come back!

Very nice motorhome parking space. 10 euros, electricity 5 euros, filling up with water 1 euro. Very nice restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service. The five euros when consumed in the restaurant were deducted without being asked 👍.

Great location,I couldn't find anything to drink.Had to drink alcohol. I was really looking forward to schnitzel day and was disappointed. There were no special schnitzels, 4 variations, but nothing out of the ordinary.I then ordered the schnitzel with black beer sauce and onions, was expecting a dark sauce and got a cream sauce with onions. Tastes like my wife's champion sauce only with onions. The schnitzel was half on the salad, when will the chefs finally understand that cold and warm should be separated.Because warm lettuce doesn't taste good, there was a lot of stalk in it and the stalk was still in the tomatoes. The fried potatoes, well, at least there were some. Seasoning was tiring because I didn't have enough salt and pepper. The menage was dirty as hell and not appetizing! The service was very attentive and didn't even talk to me anymore because I was about to burst! The portions are small, so I made a few sandwiches in the apartment so I wouldn't go to bed hungry.I would have liked to rate it even worse, but my wife's food was excellent. Maybe my expectations were too high and or the kitchen was having a bad day.

Actually good but the treatment of the guests was sometimes a disaster.Yesterday we went to a family celebration in the Waldgasthof with about 35 people. The location and the ambience is very nice. We had a carriage ride with coffee and cake in the afternoon and dinner together in the restaurant in the evening. Everything was very nice and the food was also tasty and there was nothing to complain about. So far so good. The second half of the European Championship game between Germany and Denmark began at around 10:30 p.m. Upon request, a small TV was provided for us in the room where we celebrated. The 80-year-old birthday child was tired and wanted to go home. We were still sitting with about 15 people and wanted to watch the second half of the football game until the end, but we did the math without the host...When the birthday child had paid the bill, the landlord literally wanted to throw us out. In a harsh and totally unfriendly, very strange tone, he said that it made no sense to stand around for another 1 1/2 hours for three beers. Please? 3 beers? 1 1/2 hours? And what kind of condescending speech to his guests is that?On the one hand, the game still lasted 45 minutes and on the other hand, there were still a lot of people sitting around who wanted to have a drink. Rather reluctantly, the landlord left the television on and asked in his unfriendly, harsh tone what else we wanted to drink...No question, restaurateurs certainly have long days and there is certainly nothing better than when 15 guests want to watch football for 45 minutes late in the evening. But, to be honest, when around 35 people spend the entire afternoon and evening there, driving in two carriages, making coffee/cake and dinner, to then address these people in such an arrogant tone is an absolute impudence and is simply not appropriate!Again, we know that restaurateurs don't have it easy and are glad that such beautiful establishments like the Waldgasthof still exist. But even the most beautiful inn is of no use if the hosts are like we had to experience yesterday. Simply not beautiful.
