After a somewhat stormy bike ride, we took a room here.We were warmly welcomed and invited to dinner despite the late time.The owners are extremely nice and very personable, it's easy to talk to and they're always up for fun.The room was very comfortable, the bed gave us lovely dreams and we woke up very refreshed.The food was damn tasty, good German cuisine and decent portions.The breakfast surprised us both by the abundance, selection and love with which it was served.All in all, a great guesthouse that we would love to come back to.Thanks for that :)

Very nice, clean guesthouse. The owners are very nice.The location is ideal for hiking.We particularly liked the delicious, rich breakfast, which was prepared with a lot of love. It is worth 5 stars.We were treated to delicious home cooking for dinner.We liked it very much.

I give full marks. For me, price/performance always counts and that's great here. Super nice and accommodating. Breakfast is served at the table, not a buffet, which I personally think is good and the selection left nothing to be desired. Dinner also tasted like it was cooked by mom.

We stayed as a small group for a few days over Pentecost. Very nice guesthouse, everything was very pleasant and lovingly designed. Room great. The breakfast was a dream, even our children loved it. For us it is clear that if we travel to the area again, we will only go to the Hammerschänke!

We stayed in the hammerschänke for three nights over the third Advent. The rooms are clean, large and tidy. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly boss with good tips and a wonderful breakfast every morning - nothing was missing.You can go on many excursions from the guesthouse and the area is very quiet. Since there is a shortage of staff everywhere in this area, the restaurant was unfortunately closed, but there are plenty of options in the area and you won't starve in the Ore Mountains. A big thank you again to Ms. Heine and all the best for the new year - many greetings from southern Germany 😀

We had booked two single rooms in the Hammerschänke, were given a very warm welcome and you immediately felt welcome. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, everything you need is there. The guest room is rustically furnished and fits in well with the area. Particularly noteworthy are the super nice operator and the breakfast. Very tasty, plentiful and prepared with love.We would like to come again !
