The size of the rented half-timbered old town house corresponded to our expectations. The location was also as described and ideal for all activities in the old town.Handing over the keys on the day of arrival and returning them on the day of departure was simple and uncomplicated, although the prior arrangement was a bit slow.Despite repeated requests, we only knew how the key handover would work in the evening on the day of arrival.Unfortunately, this gave us a somewhat unsure feeling during the journey as to whether the accommodation was actually available.The fact that the accommodation was still reported as available on the holiday apartment portal even on the day of arrival added to this uncertainty.Unfortunately, the furnishings and cleanliness of the house turned out to be worth mentioning negatively at this point.In many places it is clear that this house was renovated/renovated in the 1990s and that not much has been invested in the equipment and furniture since then.The furniture appears to be put together haphazardly/carelessly and sometimes gives the impression that it is from bulky waste.Discarded patio wicker chairs in the living room, dining room chairs that are very wobbly, and a mini stereo with a cassette section.In the bedroom there are two different nightstands next to a bed that doesn't match and two cupboards that couldn't be more different in style and condition.Unfortunately, this thrown together impression continued into the kitchen furnishings and equipment.Here and in the bathroom on the ground floor, the cleanliness was unfortunately not as high as the homepage and other reviews promised.The tile backsplash on the stove in the kitchen is covered in splashes from previous cooking activities and is noticeably sticky and greasy when touched. This also applies to other areas of the kitchen.Dishes in the kitchen were stained/greasy.The floor in the dining table area is worn beyond recognition.Throughout the house, the walls and wallpaper in many corners and the areas around light switches are worn and in urgent need of renovation.The lamps are randomly put together (shade lamps next to spotlights/spots).The beautiful old town flair that surrounds this gang house in Sievers Thorweg from the outside is unfortunately destroyed by the careless and worn interior and the lack of hygiene

Very spontanous we (2 adults and a baby) decided to make a one-week vacation in Lübeck and we were very lucky to find a very neat vacation appartment rented out by Christa. This 60qm2 appartment (Haus 1, 2nd floor) is located in the city center of Lübeck, grocery and other shopping areas can be easily reached within 5min by foot (no car needed) and to the train station is only a 20min walk. The appartment itself was fantastic as it is from the 15th hundred and has been renovated to up-to-date standard but keeping the "old" charme. The appartment has a fully equiped kitchen incl dish washer, living room, spacious bathroom and 2 bedrooms and it is very quiet!

Great accommodation. We stayed in the Ganghaus Vespernhagen, in a beautiful location, with great facilities. The landlady is friendly and accommodating and very flexible when it comes to arrival times. Everything is available for children (children's chair, bed, etc.) Everything was very clean and well prepared for us. We didn't want to leave and will definitely come back.
