We only needed a place to stay the night before we catched the ferry, but whish we could stay longer on this beautiful island and this warm, welcoming, peaceful and charming place in. …

Nice place, they provide towels and hand soap. No kitchen in Suite 8. Big TV in case it's rainy. There is W-LAN but connection is so slow is worthless. Yoga, sauna, and massage are optionally available.

My stay at Hof Kranichstein was great. The accommodation is very nice – cozy, quiet and clean. The food was fantastic, everything was fresh, tasty and prepared with heart. Individual wishes were always taken into account. Heidi and Katharina hosted us excellently and made sure that we felt completely comfortable.I was particularly impressed by Katharina, who was not only personable as a yoga teacher but also very professional. She addressed each participant individually, whether beginner or advanced, and made the lessons both educational and relaxing. Her friendly and empathetic nature created an atmosphere in which you immediately felt comfortable and in good hands.Overall, it was an unforgettable stay that I can highly recommend to everyone. Anyone looking for relaxation will not be disappointed here

Beautifully landscaped grounds and rooms. I felt very comfortable for the second time. During the yoga sessions, individual needs are taken into account and corrected individually. Always helpful, friendly and with tips for at home too! Simply great! Delicious and loving food supply. 100% recommended!!!

My visit to the Kranichstein farm was a true discovery. The secluded location and the lovingly designed rooms created an ideal atmosphere to switch off. I would particularly like to highlight the yoga classes led by Katarina, the owner. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she made every session an enriching experience. She took enough time to show each yoga position in detail and explain the structure and procedure in order to deepen our yoga practice with small but effective tips. The ability to decide for yourself how deeply you wanted to get involved made the experience all the more personal. The entire team was also extremely accommodating and provided helpful tips for activities in the area. My stay at the Kranichstein farm was a wonderful opportunity to completely switch off and recharge my batteries. Thank you for the wonderful time!

If you want to wake up bleary-eyed with bad karma, this is the place for you.The operator found it necessary to point out in a gruff tone to my 89-year-old mother-in-law, who had sat down in the sun with a blanket from her room, that a blanket was not allowed to be borrowed outside and that extra cleaning costs would now be incurred. The operator, who keeps everything to a minimum and reacts vigorously to every additional request, treats her guests unfriendly. The bed linen is not available in cotton, even upon request. Sleepless nights due to dogs barking loudly throughout the night. We therefore canceled our holiday at Hof Kranichstein at short notice and only stayed 2 nights in a four-person room instead of the 4 nights we had booked in advance. As guests, we do not allow ourselves to be subjected to such unpleasant treatment (especially to an older person), despite the hotel costs being paid in advance and non-cancellable. There is a gap between the website and reality.

Impossible behavior on the part of the operator. Because the car is parked in a space that does not belong to the room, the operator feels compelled to enter the sleeping area via the terrace door in the morning to ask the guests who are still in their beds to move the vehicle, even though other spaces were still free. The suggestion that the roads were too narrow was rejected in a mushy tone and at an inappropriate volume, saying that you then had to park your vehicle on the unpaved country road. Compensation for the early departure was only provided by the booking agency. The operator didn't accept anything and didn't apologize. Now I also know why the price had to be paid weeks in advance.
