Really wonderful time during our stay. The hosts are friendly, flexible and kind. Our visit to the wine festival right next door was amazing. Thank you!

I had reserved the single room long in advance for my hike on the Moselsteig. I can highly recommend it. I also ate a warm meal there in the evening, everything is still cooked in a traditional way. The red grape juice spritzer, juice made in-house, was also very tasty. Everything at breakfast was also more than plentiful. I was in room 12. A very large property that has been in the family for a long time.

Price-performance ratio is great, here you get a cozy room with an honest kitchen for relatively little money. We were warmly welcomed and served. We'd love to come back

We stayed at the Dostert-Schmitt winery for one night on a bike tour. The room was functionally furnished, everything was clean. The bikes could be safely locked away. …

I spent a night here with my partner and am completely satisfied. I was told the price when I asked, so there were no misunderstandings. The food is reasonable for the price and the coleslaw was fantastic!!!!! In order to give 5 stars, the price would have to be a little lower or the restaurant would have to be renovated, as it is more reminiscent of the 90s.The breakfast was extensive and special requests were fulfilled upon request, which offset the somewhat high price to some extent.Nevertheless, it is definitely recommended!

Beautiful sun terrace in a central location. The prices are unrivaled and it tastes almost like home “at Mom’s”. The service is friendly and typical of the area. We enjoyed it and enjoyed it.

Positive things to mention were the initially pleasant impression and the clean room including the bathroom. But the impression didn't last long because at the beginning they only had double rooms, which I was willing to pay. And in the end it was just a single room. And when asked, they said everything was correct. No, it hasn't.Absolutely not recommended.

The two of us were there for a week on a hiking and cycling holiday. It is an inn with a guesthouse. Don't expect hotel standards and service. The house offers a rustic local ambience in the dining room, which also serves as a breakfast and dining room. The food is homely, good and extensive. We had half board with a good breakfast at the table with a partial buffet and a three-course evening menu with soup, warm food and dessert. Anyone who makes their food preferences known in advance can expect consideration. We were completely satisfied with the food on offer. There is a cozy beer garden on site and there is also a DKB bowling alley. As I said, the guesthouse is not a hotel. But with room TV (numerous programs), good beds/mattresses for us, large, clean bathroom with shower and toilet. The house is in a quiet location and is a good starting point for numerous activities and explorations. Nittel offers basic services with 2 financial institutions, a pharmacy and doctors. The train station, jetty and the Moselle cycle path can be reached from the house in just a few minutes. The rail connection offers the opportunity to end one-way cycling and hiking tours on the railway line and return to Nittel by train. A bus goes to Luxembourg City (day ticket 4 - in words "four" - euro - parking on site is much more expensive). Depending on the route 45 - 60 minutes travel time. The owner family is accommodating and helpful. You should seek discussion if you have any concerns or requests.

Simple but neat guesthouse with excellent breakfast and half board on request. Nittel is a wonderful starting point for hiking and cycling tours, including the Moselsteig. Also an excellent starting point for a visit to Luxembourg City, Trier, Saarburg or Remich and Grevenmacher.
