Friendly welcome by staff, Big room with sofa and good beds, Good bathroom, Very nice breakfast. Because it's on a hill you better eat at the hotel. And that's good diner.||Be aware that they are closed between 12.00 and 14.00

Very nice hotel, excellent service, excellent food (evening + breakfast), excellent room. Safe parking, easy to find. Treffurt is a small place, good for bikers and hikers - but not the right place for "party seekers".

We stayed at the Hotel Waldblick for two days on April 22nd, 2024 as part of our hike along Germany's Green Belt. Very, very nice host family Achtert, who welcomed us with a drink after a 25 km hike. Our preferences were asked in advance for both dinners. The breakfast was extremely rich. Breakfast and dinner were presented very attractively. Our room was very large and very clean. An all-round great stay in a great house with great hosts.

I received a very warm welcome here during a 9-day hiking trip. In addition, due to the name of the tour operator, the room was heated, which was really an exception on the tour. As cold as I was, I was very happy about this. Dinner was a huge portion (I can only recommend the duck) and very tasty. The breakfast was very rich and even tailored to my wishes.The location is also very beautiful when the fog rolls over the valley from the Werra in the morning. Getting up early is worth it ;)Here you are still a guest and you notice how much love and heart the owners put into the hotel and the hospitality of their guests.I'd love to come here again :)

Hello from the city of Madebruh.Here is the Apmann family!We really enjoyed our short vacation of 4 days 😊. There were a few things you could experience in this hotel 🧍♂️. Me and my brother 👨 Tim and Tom were there when they were 62.But let's get started.This short vacation started with a fantastic trip.Our shower broke 😠. Such a beautiful trip. I had to go into town with my brother Tomchen (dimunitive!!) and buy a new shower for the hotel. Since there was no staff on site 👩💼. That immediately deducts 7 stars 🙂. But then our food 🍱 was burnt 🔥. This adds another 3 stars 🤩 because Tom and I like burnt things 😌. How beautiful.On the 2nd day we built our great shower, we rebuilt the entire bathroom in our room 113.Not much happened on day 2, we watched “Tatort” on our dirty TV, it was exciting. Our food 🥣 wasn't burnt this time 😪. 3 stars deducted again.On the 3rd day our television 📺 broke and Tom got a new one. The staff was once again not on site.On the 4th day we dismantled our room and completely renovated it. Otherwise it would get even more messy.😕.That was our short vacation with my little brother (dimunitive!!)Kind regards 🙋🏿♂️ Tim A.

When we got back home, we would like to thank the hosts for their friendliness. The 3 days in the Werra Valley were very relaxing for us. The service in the hotel was very good, the room was spacious and the bathroom was new and modern. The meals in particular were very tasty and prepared with love. Next time we will bring our bikes as it is easy to cycle here.

Great guy, despite it being closed we were served when we got off the bike wet. Zack n coffee and a hot bockwurst were served and we had a nice chat 😁 and a great view!!!!

We were at the Hotel Waldblick as part of a small birthday party. It was opened and cooked especially for us. The food was excellent, the game goulash and the goose menu were a poem. The staff and the owner are very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended and worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

We were guests at the Hotel Waldblick for the fourth time, this time with a large family. It's always nice how the guest is still king here and all wishes that are possible are fulfilled with great joy by the Achtert family. A guest who is not happy here and simply cannot enjoy the hospitality, the good food and the beautiful landscape is doing something wrong in his life.In any case, we were again extremely satisfied and are full of praise for the literally friendly hosts. In April of this year I stayed in this hotel for one night during my bike trip along the former inner-German border. I was impressed by how warmly I was received by the owner couple, which is unfortunately not a given, especially in Germany. For this hospitality I was happy to invest a few euros more than I would anywhere else.
