Never againWe came for a week with my family, the place looked much better on the pictures than in the reality. The facilities were quite clean, but relatively old. You have to pay extra for a shower and also for WiFi, but we had no signal on our spot anyway…It is quite a nice service that their small tractor takes your caravan to the right camping spot so you do not have to worry about parking the big thing yourself. Unfortunately, the spot they gave us was just between two dunes and it rained twice heavily and each time we got 10 cm water in front of the caravan, all our stuff swimming in the dirty water. When we complained, the reception said they will send someone, but they didn’t. When we complained again the next day that we understand that they cannot do anything about the weather, but it is not ok to pay a full price for such a spot while everyone else around us was up the small dunes and did not have the same problem like we did, so obviously it is not worth the same money, also especially since we were not the ones who chose this spot, the manager (probably) said that that’s the way it is, that they are a natural campground and she cannot do anything about it, not even a real apology. And that she cannot do anything about the weather and that some years it does not rain at all so she cannot just leave the spot empty. Somehow I find it hard to believe that it does not rain here the whole summer… and also they told us that we should have seen it in the map in advance and could have asked for a different spot, but the map obviously only shows if it is close to a toilet or a playground, but not if it is up the hill or not. So they suggested next time we tell them we want to be up the hill. Needless to say that there will for sure NOT be any next time with such a “friendly“ approach to customers

It's near a sandy beach, about 10 min walk. The area is quite big, with lots of place. My suggestion would be to arrive at about 11-12 when people are leaving, so at that time you can have more sites to choose from. The administration is friendly and eager to help. It's 4 stars because they could have a couple of more hygienic points and they could be more modern. Also more grass would be nicer.

I spend there one weekend with my family in a tent. We enjoy our stay. The sanitary facilities were clean. In the campsite there is an area where you can pitch tents and you freely pick your spot there.

This campingplace is not a normal campingplace. This is a parkplace for visitors to the beach. It is not very cozy place and a place you want to stay. The roads are named road 1, 2 and 3 and the toilets and baths in similar way. Everything costs: The bath, the kitchen, Wifi et cet. and of cause you have to pay the infamous KurTax also. I have never understood what i got for those money :-(. The place has been rather noisy with noise from satelite TV (Fotball?) and trafic on the roads. The places are small and often not 5 m to your neigbor, more like a stellplatz so no private life at all. Our arrival was a catastrophe as we had not seen the high placed sign on the road so we blocked the entrance where there is only place for one car at a time (bad planning!). The man that showed us our place was not very friendly. We didnt get relevant information at the reception. We had to ask several times to get a very noninformative map of the camp and the surroundings. At the moment i havent been able to find a place to emty my chemical toilet (no marks on the map). I found a place that was marked for NON chemical toilets. A cleaning lady i asked said it was OK to use it for my chemical toilet. I am not sure i dare it. We leave tomorrow and mark the place as a place we dont want to visit again. One positive thing: The toilets are nice and clean, but from our place you had to use a bicycle. It would help if there had been official shortcuts to the toilets ;-).
