Budget hotel in a great location! Interior of the room is a little worn, bathroom needs better cleaning (mould in shower) - but the breakfast ist fantastic! Overall would recommend. Off season price was 480€ for 4 nights.

We were completely satisfied. Nice room with a balcony. Double door to the hotel hallway, so you don't notice any hotel traffic. Great location of the hotel, large parking lot. Breakfast offered a good selection and something for every taste.

Nice hotel near the beach. Rooms are sufficiently large and well furnished, although some are unfortunately a bit worn out. Breakfast in the museum café was exceptionally good and tasty, staff were always friendly. The parking situation is commendable. Unfortunately there is no time for a bath and sauna in midsummer.

We stayed in one of the apartments at the Standhotel some time ago. The location is very good. You can quickly get to the beach and into town. But then it stops. The apartment itself was nice. We had to make our own beds. According to the two ladies who were sitting downstairs in the tourist information office, this has been the norm since Corona (I have no problem making my own bed, but I still didn't understand the reasoning). The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. But the highlight was the kitchen. The handles were stuck, the dishes were dirty (coffee residue in the cups). In order to be able to cook in the evening, I put some of the dishes in the dishwasher. Unfortunately it was defective. She only rinsed with cold water. Nothing can be cleaned there. Then I wanted to wash up, but unfortunately there was no detergent. The next morning we told the two ladies at the tourist information office because they were the contact persons for the apartments, but what followed was unsurpassed in terms of cheek. We were actually accused of breaking the dishwasher because we opened it during the washing process. Who knows how many vacationers have already pulled this scam. These are mafia methods. At least they provided us with dishwashing liquid. Unfortunately the vacation was over for us.

Nice big room. We were there with our dogs. However, the room was not tidied or cleaned in the 4 days. If the dog then costs €20, that's a shame. Otherwise we arrived a day later and only the actual stay was charged.

Unfortunately, it often happened that there was nothing left 1 hour before breakfast ended and when I asked if it would be refilled, they just said that the plates that were available for today were already empty. That was very annoying for us. Then the hotel is not allowed to charge these expensive prices for breakfast or change the times/orders. The seats were also very limited at breakfast and you had to be lucky to get a seat. The rooms have also had better days.All in all a good stay except for the annoyance with the breakfast.Insider tip Free parking on Möwenstrasse and the cross street Gustav-Adolf-Strasse
