The apartment was well-equipped with everything necessary and provided a peaceful, quiet environment. While the pillows were a bit too soft for my personal preference, this is a matter of individual taste. We had our dog with us which was not a problem at all. The walk to the beach was slightly longer than expected but still pleasant, especially if traveling with a dog. Unfortunately, due to the short duration of our stay, we didn’t have the opportunity to fully enjoy the spa, though it left a positive impression. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

My extended family recently spent a week at the Strandhafer. This place is a parent's dream with lots of activities for the kids but a relatively quiet/rural setting. The hotel has bikes to rent for all ages, provides public bus passes to easily get downtown or to the beach (<10min), has a great hot breakfast with all the Euro fixings like fresh bread, coffee, etc. All the animals, the playground, soccer nets, etc were a huge hit with the kids! The family apartment with bedroom and pullout was perfect for our family of four. The pullout couch was very comfortable which is a rarity. The kitchenette was well stocked with plates, pots, pans etc and the local market provides everything you would need to eat in every night if that is your preference. Beware that while the cafe is open early, the market is only open noon-5pm.Our family also had a one bedroom room and like others have commented, the top floor rooms can be a challenge for very tall people. There are lots of places to hit your head!I have two simple suggestions for this hotel. 1) Please provide shower gel, shampoo, etc for the bathrooms. We were very surprised that this wasn't provided or even available at the front desk. 2) Install screens in the windows. There is no A/C in the rooms (really not needed) but we had issues with mosquitoes in the room every night.

The hotel that offers a nice and not too far away access to the Beach - Warnemünde.||At the same time if a severe weather shows up, there is a warm pool available at the hotel.||||The breakfast was pretty nice. …

We just returned to Berlin from a long four day family weekend at the Ostsee. While it is October, I was a little apprehensive about going to the sea when it is cold and windy. …

The hotel sells peace, serenity and relaxation. It does extremely well on that count. The hotel is quiet. There are horses and pigs in the back. Within ten minutes walk of the Baltic (not the main beach). …

We booked this hotel via Hotel.com,because we read that the hotel allowed pets. But the information on Hotel.com was misleading because they didn’t inform us that the pets were allowed only in the big apartments.  …
