We wanted to spend a night in this camp as a group of 4 friends. They told us that they don’t accomodate groups because they are camp for families only. I never heard of such a camp and this approach seems very strange to me.

A fine campsite – we visited with a small tent and didn’t need electricity, which brought us to the general camping field which is furthest from the lake. The field’s fine, it’s a free-for-all and you can pitch your tent anywhere you like. It was a bit expensive for such a barebones experience (which we do actually like!). Toilet/sanitary are in good condition, unfortunately those we closed until further notice at some point due to a defect (both of them), which can happen of course, but having no water was pretty bleak especially since the problem was only solved at 2am (starting at around 7pm). On the field that we camped there were construction works with large machinery driving around and creating quite a lot of dirt and noise which feels a bit out of place during the busy summer season. All in all, an ok camping experience that’s probably a lot better if you visit by camper or caravan, as that gives you a nice undisturbed spot by the lake. Also beware: it’s a popular camping for families which means A LOT of children playing and running around.

The camping place was ok, but we found it expensive for what was on offer. The website advertises a beach volleyball court, but it's overgrown with grass and there's no net (I realize the lack of net may be due to Corona restrictions). The website also advertises boat / kayak / canoe rentals, but when we asked, we were told this hasn't been offered for a while. In general the place looks like it used to be really nice, but hasn't been maintained very well recently. We were there with an RV - power is directly available at the parking spots. Spots were a bit small, especially since some are directly on the road and others are directly on the trees - limits the amount of space each camper has. Worked out quite well with Corona restrictions since only every other place was used. To find a spot, they send you out with a map and tell you to choose a spot - nice that you can choose a spot, but you had to come back with a few options in case your first choice is taken by someone else. They also don't tell you which other spots are already taken, so you have to walk around the whole campground. For the price, we would have appreciated a more efficient system. The dumping/ water station is well maintained and easy to access.

Excellent well run site. Facilities always clean. Great for children. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would give 5 stars but feel that a site of this size deserves a small supermarket rather than a campshop.

We had a birthday party there and the kids made their own candles. We did not sleep there and made no use of the camping ground
