The perfect place for friends or family to get together. Nothing better than working together in the kitchen to break the ice, or to get people to relax and just have a good laugh whilst cooking your own dinner with the expert guidance of the head chef.Lovely lakeside location, a guesthouse full of character, and food fit for a king...just perfect

A fantastic weekend!!!The host Hans-Jörg, our second cooking teacher Ole, the “apprentice team”...everything was perfect. A weekend like this is a must for all gourmets. The selected menu was a culinary delight.Hans-Jörg as host is simply great, the friendliness of the hard-working staff, Ole's commitment, simply an unforgettable event!

We had another great weekend here at the beginning of September. We came again with friends for a cooking weekend and it was great again. We met great people, experienced a great host in Hans-Jörg, learned from a great chef Ole who answered all our questions, and of course also ate exceptional food and enjoyed good wine. Everything here is rounded off by super nice accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Many thanks to the outstanding team at Villa Martha. We had a wonderful stay in a unique atmosphere. Many thanks also to the chef Hans Jörg, who showed us tips and tricks from his culinary art. The meal we cooked together became an unforgettable delight. We liked it so much that we booked again for 2024. Anyone who is interested in cooking and would like to further their education should go to Villa Martha in Ratzeburg and take advantage of this unique opportunity.

A beautiful, rustic house located directly on Lake Küchen. The motto is to arrive and feel good.Two days of relaxation that lasts a long time...We can recommend this pleasure to everyone without any ifs and buts!!Thank you for the great weekend!!

We experienced a great cooking course on the weekend of September 22nd to September 24th, 2023. Hans-Jörg is an unbeatably warm host and lives an open house. You feel valued and welcome. Villa Martha is open to every area. Lovingly furnished rooms add a touch of Italian flair and the winter garden invites you to chat with the other guests. Feeling good and slowing down are very successful here. The cooking course was led by Ole Kurth, who was incredibly personable and had an answer to every request or question. We cooked a well-chosen menu and were taken with us at any time. Delicious dishes were prepared and eaten. Nevertheless, Ole always made sure that all guests felt comfortable. We felt at home with friends and can recommend the stay and the cooking course to anyone who is looking for a special, unique experience. We'd love to come back.

What did we experience: an exceptional cooking course and all-round great staff. A special location, great tips - Ole is a likeable and fantastic chef - he not only impresses with his extensive knowledge of food and the preparation of culinary highlights, but also has the great ability to impart this specialist knowledge excellently. Thank you very much Ole. We were a great group, it was great fun and there was a lot of laughter. Great products, good wine - nothing was missing. We learned a lot and felt completely comfortable. As a warm host, Hans-Jörg knows how to captivate his guests. Thank you for this special weekend, which will remain in our memories forever.
