We spent a week in a superior double room in this hotel, which has been open since December 1st, 2023. We were skeptical about getting a room next to the elevator, but that was completely unnecessary. We didn't hear him. The air conditioning was also practically inaudible. The sound insulation, including through windows and doors, is very good. Everything is clean and well-maintained, from the bright underground car park to the public area and in the rooms. Our room was spacious. Fly screens on the window were great. There is nothing wrong with the beds. The bar is cozy with a fireplace that is partially operated according to the temperatures. What should be highlighted is the extremely nice and friendly staff throughout the hotel, including the restaurant area (also outside, for example in the monastery, at the tourist information office, in the (worth seeing) small local museum, etc.). The location is great, attractions and the lake are very close. We felt very comfortable, even though the weather was mixed. When we're in the area again, we won't be looking for a hotel, we'll just stay at the Seehotel, which will hopefully keep up the standard.

We celebrated our wedding there. It was so beautiful. The rooms were very nicely decorated.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We're already looking forward to the next time.We'll definitely come back.

A very nice hotel ....with great service. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired...If you want fish for dinner, this is the place for you. This is our third time at the hotel and we always like to come back. A place to slow down... the Schaalsee is wonderful and anyone who wants to go hiking is also very welcome here 🙆♂️🌞👍

The Seehotel was my home for two days. I find the room to be spacious, modern and well-kept.The sauna area on the upper floor is beautiful with a pleasant atmosphere.The staff is very nice and helpful.I ate in the evening in the fish house, right across from the hotel.The food is good, the prices are normal for these days: starter, main course, drink and espresso...just under 50€.One negative point is the very ambitious time management: I had barely finished the starter when the main course was served immediately.I hastily put the starter plate aside while still chewing.Nevertheless, the overall impression is good.At this point I would like to thank Ms. Gipp and her friendly team, especially Ms. Wolf at reception and Maya, Service Kraft, from the fish house.

We chose the Seehotel as our wedding location and were satisfied from start to finish.The prior coordination with Ms. Behm and Ms. Hartmann-Braun was very simple and uncomplicated. We always received a quick response to all our questions and they were even open to “unusual” requests like setting up a bouncy castle or a boxing machine and looked for a way to implement it.On the day of the festival, the team was very attentive to us at all times. They patiently accompanied us through the festival and let us celebrate until 4:30 a.m. A highlight was the summer buffet, which was grilled on the indoor terrace, which was only available to our guests. Despite the hot climate, the room was very pleasant and well air-conditioned. The rooms in which we and our guests could sleep are also very modern.We are 100% satisfied and very happy to have chosen this location. Price-performance service is simply top!

Fabulous hotel. Everything is new, well maintained and high quality. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time and couldn't try out all the features. The two restaurants belonging to the hotel are also worth mentioning. Yummy. Plus the courteous and friendly staff. Finally, the great location on the lake should be mentioned. Everything is round. Nothing to complain about.

Mr. Block's new hotel in Zarrentin has been very successfully adapted to the style of the town center. Our friends slept well in the new beds. At breakfast there is something for every taste, including a large selection of cereals. The thermos flask with coffee for each table is a good idea, and there is a coffee machine for special requests. The inner courtyard garden is also very nice, where you can sit in the evening or have breakfast in the morning. Very quiet and just a short walk to the beautiful Schaalsee.

The Seehotel Zarrentin has great rooms, moderate prices, is great, very close to Lake Schaalsee (there is a small swimming area about a 5-minute walk away) and the staff is very friendly. I would go here again at any time and can only recommend it.

We stayed 2 nights in a classic double room. First of all, an absolute no-go should be mentioned, which fortunately has been cleared up: Lt. Website all Classic rooms have either a balcony or terrace. This is presented there several times. When booking we requested a room with a balcony, in a quiet location.When we arrived, we were assigned a room without a balcony (and without a terrace) above the restaurant's outdoor area. At our urgent request, we were given a balcony room after it was first pointed out that the hotel was fully booked and that we had no influence on the content of the website (??).The lady, like all the other staff, was very friendly and attentive during the stay.The hotel has only been open for a good six months, so everything is modern and brightly furnished and in good condition. It's a shame that there is no minibar (for cooling your own drinks). The lack of air conditioning could be a problem on the sunny side; here on the north side it remained cool despite the outside temperature being 30 degrees.Bathrobes and slippers were available. The mattress was very firm.The bathroom is also very modern with a large, walk-in shower (including rain shower). Breakfast from the buffet was very good and plentiful, but not exceptional.Unfortunately, check out (also on Sundays) at 10:30, that's different.Location in relation to the place, which otherwise doesn't offer much, is quite good, quiet and close to the lake, although without a view of it. Very nice REWE market nearby. Restaurant on site (overpriced and not particularly good selection or quality). Better in the sister hotel “Fischhaus”. Otherwise there is no notable restaurant in town apart from the café next door. Overall, more recommended for conferences and seminars or family celebrations than for couples or family stays. Rated 4 stars for this purpose.Please correct the website regarding the equipment of the rooms with a balcony/terrace. Finally, praise for the significantly cheaper prices when booking directly than via portals!

I arrived in Zarrentin with a flat tire on my bike and was just able to escape the onset of a thunderstorm and go to the restaurant at the Seehotel. After I had a very good meal there, I had to find a solution for my return to the Schaalsee Camp near Seedorf. I was actively supported by the extremely friendly staff at the reception of the Seehotel and also by the service staff in the restaurant and the boss. Unfortunately, a taxi big enough to transport me and my bike couldn't be found, but reception provided me with a bike repair kit and suitable tools. So I was able to repair the damage and return to the campsite safely.Many thanks again to the super friendly team at the Seehotel!
